I live in Southern Illinois, but work in Indiana. It was not a big surprise for me to see what State license plate was on the car. But to be fair, we have plenty of them in Illinois as well.

it's kinda crazy you're allowed to basically use anyone's image in an attempt to fool people into thinking they or their loved ones endorse you.

I can't find it now, but about a week ago I saw an interview with a wounded and disfigured vet being used for the Biden campaign. He didn't know his image was being used until his family and friends showed it to him.

Here it is. Guess it wasn't a Biden ad, but just an anti-Trump ad, if there's that much of a difference.

I agree. The laws must be weird because sometimes it seems like you can and others you can’t. Like on Impractical Jokers they have to get permission, that doesn’t seem any different than using your image for a campaign.
