reminds me of people who got warnings here crying free speech. morons, the whole lot of em!
edit to add: and i'm not one to be shocked by anything this fucktard says. but imagine a president saying "...the shooting starts". he is essentially threatening to murder his own citizens.
i fucking hate this saying, but i'm going to use it anyway....."let that sink in".
A friend of mine and I were arguing about this the other day. He alleges that those platforms censor conservatives and prop up liberal narratives, which they do, to a degree, and he further claims that they're a monopoly. But I told him, hey, sorry that it's always liberals that come up with these great technological advances. If a conservative invented twitter, it'd be the same thing but it would be the left that was censored. So either use Twitter and stop crying about it, or start your own social media site.It seems ironic until you realize that their main belief is holding power and all the stuff they talk about is expendable once they have it. They care about the debt/deficit only when there's a Democratic president. They don't want government officials sticking their nose in private business until their guy tells the NFL ow to handle the anthem. And they sure as hell don't want government stifling free speech, except that Trump alludes to it all the time and they celebrate. Second Term prediction: Trump starts talking about shutting down CNN and his supporters are all in.Also, the problem with your friend's take is that one of the two biggest platforms, Facebook, is totally on Team Trump because money.Post edited by OnWis97 on1995 Milwaukee 1998 Alpine, Alpine 2003 Albany, Boston, Boston, Boston 2004 Boston, Boston 2006 Hartford, St. Paul (Petty), St. Paul (Petty) 2011 Alpine, Alpine

how can it even be claimed that they have a monopoly when it's a free service? and how is two companies a monopoly? do trump supporters not understand what the prefix "mono" means? LOLHugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall0

I am nervous. The republicans don’t care what he says but what he does. They like the bills he has passed and positions he takes and don’t care about his stupid comments.
Friends and family tell me that he says stupid stuff but they can’t vote democratic because they don’t like their positions. I tell them that they are lied to and that the leaders have no intention of making abortion illegal or balancing the budget so stop holding the rest of America hostage by voting for these idiots.0 -

Remain calm, though. Biden remains in better shape than any other challenger to an incumbent ever, I believe.

From the White House email blast (please, be best):
Dear 1600 Daily subscribers,
We are forwarding you this email that the White House just received from Twitter. It’s so absurd, we just had to share it with you.
This morning, the White House Twitter account reposted text from a tweet sent by President Trump. A short time later, Twitter censored the tweet, claiming it violated Twitter Rules about “glorifying violence.”
That is completely false. As the President just explained again, his tweet was CONDEMING violence and pledging federal support to keep Minnesotans safe.
The email we just received, presumably sent by a different team within Twitter, admits that the very tweet they are censoring does not violate any Twitter Rules.
Yet the tweet is still censored.
Twitter’s own staff just made this much clear: Twitter is a publisher with an editorial viewpoint, NOT a platform.
See the email below for yourself:
