Then think about open borders. Why have them when most other countries don't? So that more people can come in and get on welfare and vote Democrat as they want to be the party of the hand outs. I just heard there was a new poll saying that the majority of millennials now support socialism. Scary stuff if your a hard working American citizen who has gotten where you are based on your hard work and merits rather than because you feel you deserve what other people have just by being born.

    You're leaving out the part when Nixon deployed the Southern Strategy which converted the formerly "Solid South" of Democratic voters, to the Republican wing, due to the Civil Rights movement.  Everyone knows the history of the parties.  It's basic American History 101.  It means nothing for today.  If you want to make the argument that Elijah Cummings, John Lewis, Alcee Hastings, Jim Clyburn and other Civil Rights activists and (D) congressmen were actually pro-slavery, then good luck with that.  I'm really looking forward to that idiotic argument.

    He doesn't care about states (or territories) that didn't vote for him.  Well, he doesn't care about anyone that isn't him, but he tends to shout out to the GREAT states that voted for him and show no interest (except in trying to win them in 2020) in those that didn't.

    Can someone please tell me why abolishing the electoral college would be a bad thing. Popular vote should be the only thing that matters in my opinion and the nonsense of the fly over states would get little to zero representation is bull. You still have your congressional and senate representatives and it would prevent candidates from pandering to the few swing states and giving all states equal representation in a sense. Should the more populated states get more attention? Maybe. For one and one fact only. There are more voters there. Why should Iowa, Ohio and other states get all the fan fare now. 

    In my lifetime, we have had two presidents elected by the electoral college but lost the popular vote. And do we have to be reminded how that has turned out. A country where popular vote matters is a country where the President has to care about voters not swing states. I’ve never understood why we still need a electoral college and how we can be considered a democracy with it in place. 

    As for TJ. He uses the same talking points that most Trumpers use without any facts or further explanation to their claims. What I really feel is this person is someone who is so disgusted by the socialist agenda a lot on the left are embracing. I have to agree with him on this part. Hard work should be rewarded not equal handouts for less work. A lot of the younger generation have an entitlement problem and giving more than earning it will hurt more than it helps. There is no simple answer to this problem. But Bernie and Warren need to drop this nonsense. 

    We need the criminal and his cronies impeached and arrested. We need to right the wrong. Trump is not the answer to any question but who is the most corrupt, incompetent, racist, rapist, criminal President in US history.
