Drama much? From The White House's official email blast:

For seven years, Obamacare has wreaked havoc on the lives of innocent, hard-working Americans. The question for every Senator, Republican or Democrat, is whether they will side with Obamacare's architects or with its forgotten victims. The American people have waited long enough, and now is the time for action. We must repeal and replace Obamacare.

    -------------

President Trump and Vice President Pence Meet with Obamacare Victims
Yesterday, President Trump and Vice President Pence welcomed American families who have been heavily burdened by Obamacare to the White House. At the event, President Trump made a statement urging the Senate to take action on healthcare reform.

Incase you didn't want to believe the level of disgust of Trump amongst the Establishment, here you go. Its one thing to be partisan, or bi-partisan as the case may be, when discussing things that lack relevance. But when Trump's behavior is proof to the world? Lawks a mercy are we in a world of shit.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/politics/wp/2017/07/25/senators-on-hot-mic-trump-is-crazy-im-worried/?hpid=hp_hp-top-table-low_hot-mic-1250pm:homepage/story&utm_term=.8cf3bfca7f98

After Reed praises Collins’s leadership of the hearing, she laments the administration’s handling of spending.

“I swear, [the Office of Management and Budget] just went through and whenever there was ‘grant,’ they just X it out,” Collins says. “With no measurement, no thinking about it, no metrics, no nothing. It’s just incredibly irresponsible.”

“Yes,” Reed replies. “I think — I think he’s crazy,” apparently referring to the president. “I mean, I don’t say that lightly and as a kind of a goofy guy.”

    “I’m worried,” Collins replies.

“Oof,” Reed continues. “You know, this thing — if we don’t get a budget deal, we’re going to be paralyzed.”

    “I know,” Collins replies.

“[Department of Defense] is going to be paralyzed, everybody is going to be paralyzed,” Reed says.

“I don’t think he knows there is a [Budget Control Act] or anything,” Collins says, referring to a 2011 law that defines the budget process.

“He was down at the Ford commissioning,” Reed says, referring to President Trump’s weekend event launching a new aircraft carrier, “saying, ‘I want them to pass my budget.’ Okay, so we give him $54 billion and then we take it away across the board which would cause chaos.”

    “Right,” Collins replies.

“It’s just — and he hasn’t — not one word about the budget. Not one word about the debt ceiling,” Reed says.

    “Good point,” Collins replies.

“You’ve got [Budget Director Mick] Mulvaney saying we’re going to put in all sorts of stuff like a border wall. Then you’ve got [Treasury Secretary Steve] Mnuchin saying it’s got to be clean,” Reed continues. “We’re going to be back in September, and, you know, you’re going to have crazy people in the House.”

In a more salacious part of what was recorded, Collins then addressed a radio interview in which Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-Tex.) suggested that if Collins were a man, he’d have challenged her to a duel for opposing the Senate Republicans’ Obamacare overhaul bill.

“Did you see the one who challenged me to a duel?” Collins asks.

“I know,” Reed replies. “Trust me. Do you know why he challenged you to a duel? ‘Cause you could beat the s— out of him.”

“Well, he’s huge,” Collins replies. “And he — I don’t mean to be unkind, but he’s so unattractive it’s unbelievable.”

“Did you see the picture of him in his pajamas next to this Playboy bunny?” she continues, referring to an infamous photo of Farenthold, below.

(I've said it before and I'll say it again: Some of the parallels drawn between Hitler and Trump are extremely apt, as in this case with the speech to the Boy Scouts, and I think that anyone who rejects that fact is just having a knee jerk reaction because the comparison is unsettling and jarring, no matter how accurate).

It's not often that this do-nothing Congress goes against Trump, but today the House passed a bill limiting Trump's power to lift Russia sanctions, and they passed it overwhelmingly, 419-3! Sounds like Don and Vlad are going to have to figure something else out. Also, now that Trump can't lift sanctions, Tillerson can't secure a big deal for Exxon-Mobile, so he's leaving (or at least taking a little vacation). Can't wait for Trump's angry tweets about this one!

Can't Trump veto this bill if he wants to though?

Lol. As a random TV celebrity/rich guy, Trump could actually be pretty funny. I miss those days! (of course, back then, I wasn't aware that he was as big a creepy-ass, sexist scumbag as he is)

    House passes Russia sanctions deal

Can't Trump veto this bill if he wants to though?
Sure he can but with those kinds of numbers, it would be overridden, which would be a bigger smack to his ego. He's untenable. And if he did, it immediately raises questions about his Russian collusion. Or proves the existence of the PTAPE.

If it weren't close he could. But a vote of 419-3 is veto proof. I'm assuming if the House vote was so one-sided, we'll see something similar in the Senate. It takes a 2/3 majority to override a president's veto.

2/3 vote trumps a presidential veto

    Pun intended :)

I think Trump vetoing the sanctions bill would lose him GOP support. Just like if he fires Sessions or Mueller. Normally I would say those are political suicide, but who knows with this clown. I'd said that after calling McCain not a hero. I'd said that after mocking a reporter with a disability. I'd said that after the Access Hollywood tape. I'd said that after calling for a legit Muslim ban. I'd said that after implying a US judge wouldn't be fair to him because of the judge's Mexican heritage. But...here we are. I believe he's Achilles politically to about 35% of the country. Having said that, I believe his heel goes by the name of Robert Mueller.

We need to stop with the Trump / Hitler comparisons.  Trump is a dummy that has the mental fortitude of a 7th grader.

It's somehow (and very weird) insulting to say that king clown has the mental prowess of the most evil sociopath of all time.

Hitler had a final plan.  I'm not sure if Trump ties his own shoes or has a team dedicated to that task
