Incase you didn't want to believe the level of disgust of Trump amongst the Establishment, here you go. Its one thing to be partisan, or bi-partisan as the case may be, when discussing things that lack relevance. But when Trump's behavior is proof to the world? Lawks a mercy are we in a world of shit.
After Reed praises Collins’s leadership of the hearing, she laments the administration’s handling of spending.
“I swear, [the Office of Management and Budget] just went through and whenever there was ‘grant,’ they just X it out,” Collins says. “With no measurement, no thinking about it, no metrics, no nothing. It’s just incredibly irresponsible.”
“Yes,” Reed replies. “I think — I think he’s crazy,” apparently referring to the president. “I mean, I don’t say that lightly and as a kind of a goofy guy.”
“I’m worried,” Collins replies.

I seem to have to reply within the quote, so: obviously, everyone in the Senate knows that 45 is grossly unfit to be president. There's nothing surprising about the senators' comments. When do they plan on doing somethiing about this situation? It sure would be great if the answer to that question were something other than "When he's no longer useful to the GOP," or "When it looks like the GOP will be in a world of hurt after midterms." I'd like to see the GOP place country before party, before something really terrible happens.
All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.
If you dont detect a strong authoritarian/fascist odor from Donald Trump and this administration, then i don't know what to tell you. Hitler is cited because he is the most well known/extreme case. It doesnt mean people think tomorrow trump is going to go final solution. I think its time we stop worrying about offending trump supporters. They certainly dont give a shit about you. We are on a slippery slope and i think more people need to wake up and see what is at stake.
29 false or misleading claims by Trump in 26 hours. Americans sure do love their crazy. Trump represents the crazy uncle everyone wishes they had or do have. But it's nothing that follow the money, from Russia with love and a PTAPE, won't eventually solve, all the way to impeachment.
What a piece of shit this guy is. How unprofessional to send a tweet on this when you have thousands who serve that are Transgender. Spineless piece of shit.

Written like an inter-office memo, "To all employees: Please be advised that, effective immediately, all food left overnight in the refrigerator will be discarded by the cleaning staff."
It doesn't look like something he sent himself. It also doesn't look as if the Department of Defense was informed. Is governing via tweet even allowed? I can't believe I have to ask that question.

“Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail.”
I stole this from someone on the internet but it fits....
People need to stop calling everything a distraction.
Trump has bad policies, he's only praising Putin as a distraction from those.
Trump praises Putin, he's only insulting war heroes to distract from his praise of Putin.
Trump's plans are offensive to the military, he only asked Putin to hack Clinton's emails as a distraction from his terrible military plans.
Trump colluded with Putin, but that's just a distraction from the fact that he wants to funnel government money through his properties.
Sure Trump funnels money through his properties, but that's just a distraction from the fact that he's giving his children positions of power. He's distracting from nepotism.
Oh nepotism? That's just a distraction from the fact that his staff colluded with Russia.
Oh, his staff colluding with Russia? That's just a distraction from the fact that the Republicans want to take away healthcare from Americans?
Healthcare? That's just a distraction from the fact that his son in law and children lied under oath and can be prosecuted?
What's that? Lying under oath? That's just a distraction from the fact that Trump doesn't want people to pay attention to the re-newed effort to repeal Obamacare?
What's that? Repeal Obamacare? He doesn't even care about the topic of healthcare. That's just a big distraction from the fact that he wants to fire Jeff Sessions and replace him with someone to fire Mueller.
What's that? Obstruction of justice? No, that's just a distraction to cover up for......
I'm sorry, you think Preet and Lindsey are wrong? I think you may have the finger pointed in the wrong direction.
Preet dead wrong...Lindsays opinion can't be wrong technically since he uses the word inappropriate. Any poli sci gurus know more than a US attorney?
A unitary executive doesn't mean they have limitless power. The DOJ didn't even exist when the Constitution was written. It's the nation's chief law enforcement tool. It's not Trump's personal vendetta squad. You actually still have to meet the standards of prosecution in order to prosecute. Care to explain how Preet is wrong vs. just stating it as if it's a fact? I'm pretty sure he's a helluva lot more qualified than you considering he held the most prestigious US Attorney post in the country.

It's 3D's attempt to discredit Preet, who as you know was told he'd stay on, then fired and then suddenly a money laundering case, involving Russians, Russians, Russians is suddenly settled with a fine. Seems Mueller's investigation is progressing quite nicely. Why else all of the 3Ds?

preet is banking on people being gullible and naive and trusting his sour grapes comments. for those that don't know, I'm of the opinion that the presidency has gained too much power over the last 18 years. anyone have any thoughts on why Congress let the office of independent counsel die in 1999? why would Congress let a very powerful check and balance to the president expire? an office for Congress independent of the AG and DoJ? if it were still around today, we wouldn't be having any conversation about Trump firing Sessions and orMueller, we wouldn't be talking about a president trying to "dictate prosecution". maybe preet knows

Ken Starr's overreach investigating White Water. Don't blame the republican controlled congress' abdication of responsibility on Preet. There are still checks and balances available to the congress if they so desire. That the Republican Party allowed this cream to rise to the top and then still do nothing is all on them. Makes the Clinton's look angelic in comparison.

I know my WW2 history well enough, but thanks for everyone's concern.
No, it's absolutely not okay, not at all.
WaPo has been doing some amazing work. 45 is trying to threaten Jeff Bezos; my money's on Bezos to win that fight.

He didn't want the job in the first place; I still don't know why he accepted the offer (or why he was confirmed).
