Trump is that person on the right, it is the wrong strategy on the right. And saying they will sign executive orders on day one is wrong, wrong wrong. We want to counter Trump's disregard for regular order. 

    Dems will win the popular vote again, no doubt. The problem is will they win the electoral college. They need to chill the hell out with the opposite revolution of Trump. We need someone who is not 'scary' but has the right priorities. This candidate can't be the one who is going to change everything to a leftist view. It's not the time. The Dems are making a huge mistake and the base is not who votes in the general. Most Dems are left of center or center, but not far left. I hope they get on the right path. Not saying anyone is wrong, or right for the matter, just saying it's not the time to recreate the country - that's happening right now and the country needs a person who is not for doing that.

    A federal appeals court in Manhattan says President Trump cannot block critics from his Twitter account, calling it "unconstitutional viewpoint discrimination."

    In a 29-page ruling on Tuesday, a three-judge panel of the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously upheld a lower court's decision that found that Trump violated the First Amendment when he blocked certain Twitter users, because he uses his Twitter account "to conduct official business and to interact with the public." By preventing critics from accessing his feed, the president is barring them from participating in what the judges deemed a public forum.

    "[The] First Amendment does not permit a public official who utilizes a social media account for all manner of official purposes to exclude persons from an otherwise-open online dialogue because they expressed views with which the official disagrees," the judges wrote.

    Nancy, I'm not sure I made my point well based on your response. I'm not talking about recreating the country - I'm talking about the calculus of votes. I'm suggesting that there was an anti-corruption cohort of voters last time around, who would not vote anyone other than an anti-corruption politician (Sanders). I'm saying that I fear that with the 'never compromise' rhetoric from Sanders/Warren, that same cohort could exist again (and in fact larger with the combined pool of voters in that frame of mind), which could make the path to presidency for a 'safe route' politician like Biden challenging. It's the danger of Democratic in-fighting - how they risk alienating voters from their DNC peers' agendas, and not just the Republican agenda, and thus reduce the cumulative DNC voting base post-primaries.
