Latest tweet folks from President Trump...
The ABC/Washington Post Poll, even though almost 40% is not bad at this time, was just about the most inaccurate poll around election time!

    1001 people abc polled:
53% say the democrats stand just against trump
37% polled say democrats stand for "something"

  • He's losing his mind.

His obsession with his election victory has no end. I've never seen anyone gloat so much over something.

His little orange hands probably rock his iPhone when he tweets. His tiny thumbs 'just about' (who says that?) nail the keys every time. He should gloat about that too.

    Brian's best post ever.

Look at this man thinking of what to tweet.
    "My brain's a good brain!"
  • Almost 40% in a poll would probably not be very good, but as you got 36% you ain't almost 40.
    Try almost 35%.

Given two choices in a survey, I'd go with that too.  And I'm okay with it for now.

With Obama in office it was

99% say the republicans stand just against Obama
1% polled say republicans stand for "something"
  • Post-Trump I hope somebody campaigns on making nepotism great again - as all his dumb friends and family are really damaging the practise.

And Sander's plan of taxpayer funded tuition would have helped the current problem of jobs left open due to lack of specific skills. It could also have been applied to a specific trade school so people with almost zip income could eventually fill those open jobs rather than sit idle in an low wage, unskilled position.
The problem that exists, and what the left always fails to address, is that they don't do anything to cap the problem and control it.  Their answer is to just throw more money at it, but they never stop the runaway train.

Someone has said it and that is until they take away the government backed gaurantee the schools have no incentive to control costs.

But really this deserves a thread of its own.
Aren't you taking away the free market side of the equation, which is students are choosing to go to college even at the current cost. They still see a value in it, regardless of their interest rate on their loan.
Here is the law of unintended consequences at work.
    1. We think college is too expensive
    2. A solution to get the colleges to bring down the cost is to reduce the supply (the number of students)
    3. Kill low interest student loans, reducing the number of people who can afford to attend college.  It would take several years for a college to really feel this effect, so you now have the first generation...probably ever... that has a lower college participation rate than the previous.
    4. Tuition comes down!  Great!!
    5. The US is even less competitive on the world stage because our education gap just widened.

    Sounds like a great plan.
And the flip side is to continue on the same path, saddling graduates with tens of thousands in debt the day they enter the workforce, continuing to add to one of the largest bubbles this economy has seen.

    Makes total sense.
You shouldn't say student loan debt is a bubble, because there's nothing tied to it that will pop. It's just a burden. It needs to be tied to something to be a bubble.

If Trumpito's lawyers are bringing up the secret service there is NO WAY in the world that Sr. was NOT at that Trump Tower meeting with the family and business connections over from Moscow. Seriously, NO possible WAY.   It's unfathomable to me.   I see him running that shit.

I dont even have to listen to know that this is 4 minutes and thirty seconds of bullshit.

Anyone seen or heard from Jared, dear boy? He certainly has been MIA for all the high level issues he's supposed to be tending to. I guess making government more efficient and peace in the Middle East were never serious priorities? Oh Jared, were art thou? Witness protection?

  • Brace yourself for the inevitable tweets that first mock her... and then detail how he didn't want to shake her hand anyways.

Was that taken just after he had his finger two knuckles deep up his nose? Who wants to shake that hand? Let alone that little orange rat claw tends to cling much linger than is customary making for an extremely uncomfortable moment.

From the President of the United States of America? Yes, I want something profound in every verse.  I want elegance, diplomacy, and truth. I want educated remarks.  I want something, as a citizen of these United States, that makes me feel proud of who we are.

Not someone spending his day writing vague bullshit in 140 characters or less. Not someone who blames the very citizens, media, and intelligence he is supposed to be leading.

It's fucking sad that you've dropped your benchmark so low that you fail to see the above as a big waste of time and effort and nothing more than ambiguous.

To those who argue Trump should tweet less -- a group that includes virtually every elected Republican official -- Trump offered this response, via Twitter of course, last month: "My use of social media is not Presidential - it's MODERN DAY PRESIDENTIAL. Make America Great Again!"
What's clear in new polling data from the Washington Post and ABC News: People don't like "modern day presidential." Not at all.
Seven in 10 people in the poll say that Trump's "behavior as president" is "unpresidential" as compared to 24% who describe it as "fitting and proper." Those numbers are eye-opening -- particularly given that almost 4 in 10 Republicans (38%) say that Trump has acted unpresidential since entering the office. And, as ABC's polling analyst Gary Langer notes, 48 percent of evangelical white Protestants and 55 percent of non-college-educated white men -- two groups that strongly supported Trump in 2016 -- also say his behavior is something short of presidential.
Trump's Twitter addiction plays a central role in the views of him as less than presidential. More than two-thirds in the Post-ABC poll say that Trump's tweets are "inappropriate" (68%) or "insulting (65%). A majority (52%) say the tweets are "dangerous." Just 1 in 5 (21%) call the tweets "refreshing; that includes just 41% of self-identified Republicans who describe the tweets as "refreshing."
All of those numbers make a very simple point: For all of Trump's scapegoating of the mainstream media, he has only one person to blame for his current dismal poll standing: himself.
Trump is his own worst political enemy. He repeatedly ignores the advice of lawyers, advisers and even family members when it comes to how he needs to act, talk and tweet. He refuses to change or, short of that, even adjust.
