No.  Not at all.  I think he is in favor of Trump's economic policies, view on taxes, that sort of thing.  What can I say?  He's a really nice, good person who would risk his life for a friend (or maybe even someone not a friend- he's a firefighter), who has no racial or gender biases, who would make a great hiking or camping partner but who agrees with the ideas about economics that I personally think are totally out to lunch.  Yeah, a bit disjointed that way.  But let's put it this way- I think I'm a pretty good judge of character and other than disagreeing with some of this guy's political views, I personally know few people with as good and generous a character as his.   And to be truthful, I think he is far more civil in conversation than at least half the people here.  If anyone here met him, I'm almost certain they would think he's a really good guy.

I'm not supporting Trump here or saying I think it's OK to support Trump.  Obviously I have the same general feelings toward the POTUS as most of us here.  I banned myself from the forums for six months because I shit on those here who voted for the man.  But I'm not going to shit on a guy who I see, by his life and his actions, as a good person.
I have a few close friends that fall into the same category. They aren't fans of his behavior at all, but like his economic policies. They are good people. There are assholes in each party, but there are also some great people in each party.
So true and well said, MFC!

As I said, I don't understand the guys support for Trump.   But I'm not going to put down someone who does good things for other people and who I know would engage in political conversation more decently and considerately than most of us here (including me), which is why I don't engage in that kind of conversation with him.  If you met the guy and didn't talk about politics, I'll bet you would think he's a really good guy.  We are so damn quick to judge around here.  Kinda sad, really.
Can I ask you this, does he act or talk in any way like Trump?  If not, then it's safe to assume there are policies that he likes that Trump supports for whatever reason...

Brian, then I do not see the problem.  He seems like a great guy that any community would be proud to have as a citizen.  Enjoy his friendship.
    Thank you, I do!
    I am glad you do...

I could say the same about most of the anti-trump crowd that thinks trump supporters are subhuman, as clearly displayed in this thread by people supposedly representing progressive politics.

Some of you are just as hateful as those that you despise
This kind of bothsiding is such bullshit.

One is not like the other.

You love to call out the Trump supporters on here, but how many do you actually think financially support him and his presidency...I'd be surprised if it was more than 5.  But if you have bought Kiss merchandise, music or plan/attended a concert of Kiss, I can guarantee you some of Simmons KIss $$$ finds it's way to the Trump campaign...might want to be careful calling people out, especially Brian.

I actually think Kiss sucks.  I respect that they pioneered the explosions and the light shows, but their music is boring af.

    That makes sense...

Very true about the light show.  My cousin did not like kiss music but went to the shows for the production value...

    Trump’s Circus Maximus

    By Maureen Dowd

“I knew there was no collusion. I just had a feeling. I trust him. The only thing he hasn’t done that he promised to do is put Crooked Hillary in jail.”
I noted that Jared and Ivanka had also now landed in hot water for using private accounts for official business.
“Not to that extent,” she said.
