I have a legit question about the wall.  Is there a reason it never really had momentum until after the Dems took the House?  Why didn’t they fund the wall when the GOP controlled everything?
Cause it’s just a vote getting issue for both parties. It’s why the democrats never did anything worthwhile regarding immigration when they had control. Neither party cares, just wants voters to go to polls. If they fix the issue via compromise....how do they get their voters to the poll next time??!!

When were the democrats in power?  Obama may have been President (no asterisk).  But the House was firmly Conservative Majority.

    You don't remember that?

Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act of 2013
    You don't remember that?

Introduced by Schumer in the Senate and co-sponsored by the "Gang of Eight", a bipartisan group of U.S. Senators who wrote and negotiated the bill. The Senate passed the bill on 68-32 margin. The bill was not considered by United States House of Representatives and died in the 113th Congress.

Yet here you come again with this 'both sides are bad' narrative.  It's still horseshit.

48% of statistics are made up.
    So there’s a 52% chance that 57% believe this.
    That would be correct.

Of course not. Rah, rah both sides suck. Funny too seeing how the last major immigration reform bill was signed by Reagan in 1986. This is what happens when white nationalists take over the repub party.

And for the sake of argument: Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2006 made it out of Senate, was promoted by Bush, and killed again by the Conservative Majority in the House.

So here are 2 recent examples (3 including the current shitshow) where bipartisan bills were passed by the Senate, approved by the president, and killed by conservatives.

Time & time again conservatives have shown they are more interested in making this a wedge issue, rather than actually tackling solutions.

57% of voters believe Russia has compromising information on Team Trump Treason. PTape.
And a similar percentage believe Trump's dumb wall is not worth shutting the government down. The tide....it's a turning...

November 2008 for 2 years was the last time.

You know both sides can be bad on some things. It’s not like it’s always only 1 side. Your data is what is horseshit.

You prove my point, 1 side actually tried to do selmthjng when they know the other side can block it...for votes.

Well I disagree. Each have had their opportunity. The latest being the republicans who punted cause it was too hard and then use it as a politics tool for votes.

This might be like abortion.  There are definitely conservatives who want Roe V Wade overturned and then abortion to be illegal in as many states as will make it so (or even nationally) but I think there are a lot who actually fear this because they care more about it as an issue that gets their voters energized.

How the hell does google figure that these type of ads are befitting my Pearl Jam bootleg blog? I have to see if there's a way to control what is advertised on your blog.

Edit: Okay I fixed it. But still...why would Trump ads be automated on my Pearl Jam page in the first place? Weird.

Google tracks your shopping interests and then the advertising banners on different sites feature items that might be of interest to you to try and entice you.

So... when you looked at getting some Trump merch...

Not just your shopping interests, but also what sites you visit, articles you read, etc.
I'm just hassling him a bit.
