    I would agree that fact/evidence sharing has become faster, but the investigative function doesn't necessarily benefit from our technology in more complex cases. I think you can easily gather more evidence because of digital files, but it takes a lot of time to review and investigate all those leads. Maybe this would have been a 2 year investigation 20 years ago, but now will take 1.5 years. Hard to really know. I do think that we can solve most investigations in half as much time if not sooner.
    It's a hopeless situation...

    the public doesn't know the inside facts of it at the moment. we've got the tip, but not the iceberg itself. but investigations have very little to do with internet capability. it's in-person interviews, document reading/verifying, etc etc, stuff that has nothing to do with your internet speed. as tbergs said, it can obviously help in the sharing of said information between investigators/agencies, but not much else. 

    it seems many of the puzzle pieces are there, people just have to find the rest and put it together. trump is obviously doing his damndest to try to thwart it; why else get rid of comey? obviously because he wouldn't pledge allegiance to King Trump. you don't fire a guy for something you praised him for doing only a few months prior. 

    I don't know for sure he'll be impeached, but there's a very decent chance of it. and remember, impeachment doesn't always lead to removal. impeachment is a charge, not a conviction.
