6 months is a long time in today's news cycle. and there won't be a significant amount of republicans that are so angered by this that they switch parties. hopefully it angers the independents and the current non-voters, but i don't think this is going to bring them out in droves.

Cuomo on CNN last night was kind of railing against the long day of day 1 as the average age of senators was 60+ but he broke down the numbers by age. Quite a few in their 80s, more in their 70s and even more in their 60s. I found it odd as Cuomo looked wiped out himself but I thought too bad, who cares how old they are, suck it up, this is a critical time. But then it made sense why the camera angles are such that it’s difficult to see what they’re doing when someone is speaking. That and the restrictions on the press. The repubs might as well just go home. Their minds are made up. Without witness testimony or documents. A rubber stamp that will have dire ramifications for generations and further indicates the demise of American democracy.
