I also think there's a huge difference between a teen who got hit up for a news segment and a teen putting themselves out there as an activist. If you're looking for a conservative analogue to Thunberg/Hogg, it's Kyle Kashuv. Not this kid.
The “kid” put himself out there by attending a Team Trump Treason ego rally. He wasn’t just walking around his neighborhood. At what level of political activism are you considered fair game?
There's some stuff we agree on, some stuff we don't. I'll only say this once, but the silly catchphrases make it hard to take you seriously. Same goes for the other people who do it. Ironically, it's super Trumpy.
I really don’t care if you or anyone else takes me seriously as I can’t take Team Trump Treason seriously. It’s the interweb after all.

these posts are the adult equivalent of "he started it!".
And I don’t remember you being so incensed when David Hogg was being ripped a new one. Guess it’s just me? Keep the gloves on.
ps: ANYONE who attends a Team Trump Treason racist, sexist, lying, scamming, tax and draft dodging, sexual predator traitor ego rally is fair game for ridicule. ANYONE.
I'd argue that they are fair game for being educated and a prime example for fixing the education system than they are to ridicule.

WHAT???? It was 72 here in Richmond. It couldn't be more than a few degrees cooler there. It's in the damn 50's right now! Is this some joke?
Yeah that made no sense. I saw some pundits on twitter speculating that it was a distraction for something big that was about to drop. Then news came out that Lev turned over his phone and all sorts of documents to house investigators...
Lying about snow on a crazy warm December day is fucking strange none the less.

All the Team Trump Treason racist, sexual predator, traitorous, tax and draft avoiding, scamming ego rally attendees are yelling how, “the snowflakes are melting.” Makes educating that much more of a challenge, don’t you think?

McConnell Doesn’t Have the Votes to Dismiss Impeachment Articles or Block Witnesses: Reports
Similarly frustrating to McConnell’s strategy, at least four Republican senators are poised to vote in favor of calling witnesses after the trial begins.
Senior White House officials told CBS News that Republican Sens. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Susan Collins of Maine, Mitt Romney of Utah and Cory Gardner of Colorado, are all expected to join Democrats in demanding witness testimony. Sens. Rand Paul of Kentucky and Lamar Alexander of Tennessee are reportedly viewed as “wild cards” that could vote either way.

Mitt confirms again he will vote to hear from Bolton
one defection. how many more do they need? 3? 4 total?
4. I bet he knows there are the votes so he's not out on an island by himself.
And, yeah it is January already isn't it?!
yeah he wants to be landlocked for sure.
yeah i keep writing that it is 2019 still.
Im not sure that Pence is a tiebreaker for procedural votes. I think they need 51. Be curious if someone knows for sure.
I have read that is correct. Something about him not being able to break the tie for his own boss or something?
Chief Justice fills that role in presiding over the trial.
And I’m hearing Roberts is adverse to calling witnesses. The fix continues to be in and Putin on the ritz wins.
I don't think that's right. First, I haven't heard that, second, I don't think he has a tie breaking vote. The role is simply as a referee for the agreed upon rules. He is not an extra 'juror'.

source?
I'm viewing this as Moscow Mitchy Baby bitch slaps his repub colleagues to deny witnesses, dems appeal to Roberts during trial and Roberts says, "sorry, I don't make the rules," despite seemingly having the ability to say, "yes, I'll allow witnesses as they're germane to the dems' case, the Team Trump Treason Administration stonewalled and the Clinton impeachment investigation had witnesses and dispositions and documents. If Roberts is a rubber stamp and the dems are forced to litigate via the time consuming courts process, then Team trump Treason is above the law and you can't remove a president. If that's the case, putin on the ritz wins. If it was a "perfect" phone call, why wouldn't Team trump Treason allow for witnesses that exonerate him?
If Democrats press the point that Roberts is able to rule on allowing witnesses but is declining to do so, they could follow the lead of Schiff, who in the November CNN interview indicated that such a decision by the chief justice would amount to a partisan act.
“It will mean that either Justice Roberts or the Supreme Court itself is not really a conservative justice or court, merely a partisan one,” Schiff said.
However, it’s not even clear that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will have enough Republican votes to deny Democratic demands for witnesses. He would need a simple majority to do so, but there may be enough Republican senators who decide to support a motion for some witnesses. Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., on Monday told CNN he is open to calling witnesses.
The question then would be, which witnesses? Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has requested four witnesses who were blocked by the White House from testifying to House investigators: Mick Mulvaney, acting White House chief of staff; John Bolton, former national security adviser; Michael Duffey, Office of Management and Budget associate director for national security; and Robert Blair, senior adviser to the acting White House chief of staff.
