Hopefully the titles of the Articles are enough to intrigue at least four or five Republicans to read on.

"I. The President Conditioned a White House Meeting and Military Aid to Ukraine on a Public Announcement of Investigations Beneficial to his Reelection Campaign", and "II. The President Obstructed the Impeachment Inquiry by Instructing Witnesses and Agencies to Ignore Subpoenas for Documents and Testimony".

It also means that it doesn't hurt the Democrats like 1998.  And he is appropriately stained in the annals of history.  This mark needs to be next to his name.

As you might be aware we now have 2 types of americans, Democrats and Liars.

Full disclosure, I thought about losing it at few in law liars at Thanksgiving. But I didn't.

If non Democrats are going to lie to cover up a crime, what's the point of having a democracy? What's the point of teaching your kids right and wrong? What's the point of not just committing crimes to benefit myself 24 7? Steal speed lie...anything to make my life easier and F everyone else? I kill someone speeding down the street. Leave me the F alone, I got somewhere to be.

Lie cheat steal.  Make life one big Tool song?

  • Meanwhile, there’s the underreported issue of military aid to Lebanon being withheld and suddenly released, almost like a pattern. Or connecting dots? You like connecting dots, don’t you?

    “There was no collusion.”
    “I have nothing to hide.”
    “I don’t know any Russians.”
“I’ll sit down and talk with anyone.”
“We do everything by the book.”
“Only the guilty plea the fifth.”
    “Very legal, very cool.”
    “Fully exonerated.”
    “Essentially no obstruction.”
    “Very friendly and totally appropriate.”
    “No quid pro quo.”

It's good news if you buy into the theory that those who will vote to/not to impeach feel their power is threatened if they don't vote in the direction their voting base does. I personally don't.

With that said, I don't think removal from office as part of impeachment should be the goal - the goal is to end 2020 with Trump not having the power he does today. I think things are moving along nicely towards that becoming a reality. It's still a gamble, and it still requires the Democrats to unify in a way not yet seen, but I think that will change.

If 50% are in favor of him being impeached and being removed and he has a historically low approval rating to begin with...the odds of being reeelcted are quite small.

idk. consider. McConnell had been blocking virtually all judicial appts under obama.   He has been very steady these past 3 years installing a conservative judiciary.
I wonder how many vacancies are left?

No I agree it is not as unrealistic as most people seem to think. Still, I wouldn't put the chances higher than about 25% for removal. What do you think the chances are?
