This little gem came up when I was playing some music last night.  " There's No Such Place" by Augie March

I heard this song watching late night rage when it was released and went out and bought the album the next morning. Not a huge Augie March fan but think this is one of the most beautiful songs ever written and thoroughly enjoyed that album

    Such a great show!!!
A few hundred people in a small, really cool venue....
The new album tracks sounded great.
They have expanded into a 3 piece live act which really added to the sound.
    An awesome,  fun gig :rock_on:

That's awesome. Love small venues!!  Looks about the same size as the Zoo in Brisbane or is it a bit smaller?

I've listened to Thelma Plum's new album this morning and surprisingly am really diggin it. I didn't mind her first single, Clumsy Love, but certainly didn't love it. The rest of the album is awesome though and there's a collab  with Dave Le’Aupepe which is great too

    Amyl and The Sniffers

Came across this band listening to our local internet radio station. They were in philly the other night and the guy who owns the radio station went. Their live shows are pretty intense apparently. There was stage diving/moshing and crowd surfing. The song they played sounded good.It was called Monsoon Rock

I saw them live last year for the first time since the early 2000’s and they were brilliant. Better show than any of their earlier shows I’d seen. And Quan doesn’t look any older....

  • John Butler's cd called Grand National is an absolute masterpiece.
Over the many years of playing it I have finally realized that it is probably in my top 10 all time faves.
