I liked it. I like of period pieces too, and I was in DeMolay as a kid (Basically Masons for kids) and this is sort of how they started and how they gpot their name, so it is interested for that too.
Was trying to think of the name of this show the other day and couldn't until I read your post. Season 2 is supposed to have Mark Hamil and debut early 2019.
  • I read that about Luke joining the cast for S2.  Very cool!

Is that the nonfiction book by John Grisham? Or am I thinking of something different? If it is, I'll probably watch it as I also thought that book was pretty good.

My wife and I were watching the Ellen Degenerus stand up special last night. Camera pans to the crowd and who do we see laughing their asses off? Edward Vedder and Jill McCormick.

The show was not that great. My wife liked it though.

really? that's hilarious. imagine going to some event and you are looking at your ticket and then the seats and when you finally get to yours and put your head up it's fucking EDDIE AND HIS WIFE. I'd shit my pantaloons on the spot.

It was pretty shocking but then I noticed the show was filmed in Seattle so IT ALL MAKES SENSE!

Crazy going to a stand-up show, looking back and Eddie Vedders there crying from laughter...

  • The trailer for that stand up special is really boring.

I like Ellen but more of her conversational humor (like when she was on Comedians in Cars) vs. stand-up.  I watched five minutes of the special and couldn't get into it.

Agreed with the Haunting recommendation.  Seven Seconds was excellent too.
  • I liked the beginning of the stand-up, her talking about her life. But then she started doing jokes about sliced bread and then not even the chance of watching Eddie laugh could keep me watching.
