The Office- I started about 13 yrs late.
It is really funny, but I don't think they could have made this today.
There is a lot of gay and ethnical jokes.
The worst of times..they don't phase me,
even if I look and act really crazy.0 -
Started watching Ice Pilots NWT...not a Netflix original. But enjoyable watching Buffalo Air maintain a fleet of vintage aircraft.
The Ranch...interesting to see how the show does without Danny Masterson.

Based on the comments here, I am 5 episodes in to Wild Wild Country. Fascinating and unbelievable that this happened. I was only 5 when this was going on, but it's really interesting to see all the detailed footage and get the first person accounts of those at the center of the Rahjneesh movement. At first, I was torn about how the locals responded because it screams of xenophobia and bias (local old white christians can't handle change), but then they start going in to all the crazy shit that was happening. It's a hopeless situation...0

For those of you who haven't heard, Netflix is coming out with a prequel of the Dark Crystal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And yes, it will be a Jim Hensen Co. production.
Even this teaser that reveals nothing about the actual new limited series gave me goosebumps, lol. The Dark Crystal is one of my most enduring memories from childhood.

Yes, this story is insane!! I do have a very vague memory of Rajneesh and that crazy sidekick of his - they were on the news, but I wasn't paying any attention. I definitely feel torn aboutt his story too, and I actually don't stop feeling torn as it progresses. I do think that a lot of the crazy shit that happened later wouldn't have happened if it weren't for all those bigots in Antelope. Plus, I do believe that only a select number of people were in the crazy ass zone, despite how the whole town eventually armed itself. You can hardly blame them for militarizing when the redneck bigots were literally threatening them with violence the way they were. On the other hand, the followers definitely did ruin that town for all those old bigotted white people, so I get why they freaked... but shit, reacting to change with bigotry can't be justified either. It's like both sides were caught between rocks and hard places, like aside from the insane terrorists that made up the inner circle (and btw I don't believe for one second that Osho himself didn't know anything about the poisoning or the other really shady stuff, so if I'm right, then he's just a creep). At first I wondered why in the hell they felt it necessary to glom onto an existing little town like that, but I assume it was because they had to join up with their utlities infrastructure.....tbergs said:Based on the comments here, I am 5 episodes in to Wild Wild Country. You must not watch Family Guy, lol. Shows totally get away with super off-side jokes still. The Office is mild compared to some of the stuff still on network TV IMO.Malroth said:The Office- I started about 13 yrs late.

this is not on Netflix but wasn't sure where else to put it (although I did put this in the Karate Kid thread). Anywho I would check out Cobra Kai. First two episodes are free on youtube. There are 10 episodes total at about 30 minutes long. The next eight episodes are on youtube red Which kinda suckss cause i don't have that (I downloaded and binged the rest
) If you liked the original movie def. check this out. I loved it.

Watched Season 1 of The Toys That Made Us
As a child of the 80's this is must see entertainment. Covers Star Wars, Barbie, He-Man and GI Joe toy lines and the fantastic backstories on how they came to be.And so you see, I have come to doubt

John Mullaney's standup special is fucking hilarious. Didn't know too much about this guy until he hosted SNL few weeks back. Definitely worth checking out. He only touches on politics briefly and his analogy is brilliant.www.myspace.com0
