Watched THE HOUSE yesterday. Felt bland untill minute 46 when it became a lot more fun.

Usually that is the other way with comedies.   Start strong and end dull.

For Sean Penn fans, season 1 of The First is on Amazon Prime.  It was good.

I watched Struggle last night.  A really cool documentary (produce by Leo DiCaprio) about Stanislav Szukalski, a Polish sculptor and painter whose works were all destroyed in WWII, and went virtually unheard of as an artist.  The man had some fascinating pieces of work that told great, detailed stories.  He wrote his own alphabet which he used throughout his entire life, and formed his own (often strange but captivating) views of world creation and humanity.  I highly recommend it.

I'm maybe 4 episodes into You. I think it may not be for everybody, but for me it's oddly mesmerizing and binge-worthy.

I think you will enjoy.  Penn was terrific, but why wouldn't he be.  I was surprised that he would do a series.

That's what I've heard from most people.  Jason Bateman & Rachel McAdams are always good so it's not hard to believe it's a decent film.  I'll have to check it out.

Jason Bateman is always great as the straight man.

    Well worth a watch.

THE CHANGE-UP less so. Ryan Reynolds isn't the best pick. And all the sex jokes and things... felt so not needed...

We're hitting this up tonight.  It'll be interesting to see how the concept works (plus I really dig the series).

Binge watched Jack Ryan on Prime.  I view it like comfort food.  You know what you are going to get and that you'll like it.

I read that if the newest update for the Netflix app isn't being used it doesn't work. Maybe look into that S_C.

I really enjoyed it, thoughI think people need to keep in mind this is a first try. Don't get expectations up too high about it. The most exciting thing is the concept getting off the ground, not so much how the story goes. I can't see anyone feeling really invested in the actual storyline or characters or anything hear. Consider it a public prototype for what will be possible in entertainment going forward. That said, the story is still kind of intriguing and well done IMO.

I haven't tried it again with different choices to see how different it can get, but I plan to.

Went through Bandersnatch five or so times now. Enjoyed it on the first run if but after that it really lost its charm. I would like to avoid spoilers so if anyone wants to chat about it with me fire me off a PM. I used to love the CYOA books when I was a kid and a lot of the fun was going back and correcting your mistakes. This misses the mark on that unfortunately for me and I also feel it ends just as it was getting good.

I enjoyed it, but it wasn't GREAT. Similar in style to A Quiet Place I suppose, but I preferred A Quiet Place

watched bird box, missed about the first half hour or so, and it was good. but the ending wasn't the payoff i was hoping for. i honestly sort of predicted it a bit.
