The woman you are staring at above on the preview is Abigail Spanberger. She is a UVA grad, MBA, former federal officer,  CIA officer and educator.  She also has children.  And married.  Are you mental or just living in the 1950s in your brain? Women can do more than one thing.  I'm sure the story for most of those women are similar.

    JHC....

I agree with all you said - you were much more tempered than I could find a way to express myself.

It is so easy for some men to make such ridiculous comments when they never have to consider these choices - they can father children as long as they can still swallow a Viagra pill, but women are limited in their child-bearing years.

And men have been historically able to pursue their chosen careers in whatever direction they choose, free from the societal expectations of raising the children.  Yet many women have successfully balanced all of this, while far fewer men have even tried.

  • Women are better than men. This... coming from a man.

Don't get me wrong. I love being a man in all my manliness, but if we are being objective... women are the kinder, gentler gender that our species needs for direction. I believe the world would become a better place if women were placed in the most influential leadership spots.

There is no doubt that, on average, women are morally superior and pound for pound stronger human beings than men.  My 19 year old daughter has been more mature than me for a good 5 years now.

It is my opinion. You can think of it what you wish, but I believe I'm right. I'm more right in this belief than you are in your belief in trickle down economics.

Compare the number of men in prison to women, particularly for violent crimes.  That's an easy assessment.

Now female population is growing at a faster rate than men, but that's a big gap to close.

Right, and my opinion is your opinion is bullshit.  Thanks for permission though to have an opinion. ;)

Women haven't be given the chance yet...they deserve a chance and I hope we continue to progress in that way.  That said, human nature is human nature.  And while there are some differences between men and women, from my perspective (especially at work where I've been around many female leaders), it's not a female/male thing.  It's an individual thing.  So I believe that just thinking a women will be better because she is a women is bullshit.  I do think that many women could be great leaders....but same with men.
