Economic integration and co dependence has created the longest period of first world peace since the Middle Ages. This is not an exaggeration. The question is whether the plan going forward is a full on return to nationalism or a restructuring of the integration along with expectations from those who are participating. I think the latter is more likely. Either way the point I have made repeatedly is the status quo is failing and will ultimately fail. A restructuring of some kind or another is necessary.
