  • Fully intended to spend my extra budget for September adopting a baby rhino tonight for World Rhino Day when I got home, but then there was an hour and 45 minute wait to pick up my new iPhone despite pre paying and making a reservation to pick it up. Instead of waiting I went in to my local liquor shop across the street from the apple store for a cheap Malbec and some Jack & Coke and stumbled across a Pappy 15 from the 2016 release. Not really interested in cash but would trade for a couple posters. If anyone is interested and has a 96 from Rome, Istanbul, Prague, Innsbruck or 97 Oakland or 98 Mansfield or 05 Easy Street then PM me.

    That's a nice stumble!
  • Best stumble ever!
  • And I did end up adopting a baby rhino anyway. This is Nandi who is currently at the Fundimvelo Thula Thula rhino orphanage in South Africa after her mom was poached. Hoping my small donation eventually allows her to grow up strong enough to be reintroduced in to the wild.

@BRAIN0FJAY are you still petitioning for Morgantown to get a show?
I am petioning for a show in West Virginia, however I would prefer Charleston. The Charleston Civic Center is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation and should be quite the place once complete. Here's a link to the 25-year Old Rip. Retails for the very affordable $1800. http://www.gobourbon.com/25-year-old-van-winkle-bourbon-released-spring/
Sound is horrible in the Charleston Civic Center, renovations are mostly of the outside. Nothing really changing in the arena. Have you had Pecan Moonshine?

Belvine is great. If you have a chance try the double wood and the Caribbean cast.
    Delicious!!!

Balvenie is a little sweet for my taste, but it is damn smooth!
    Aberlour is my favorite!

Yup.  Good juice, particularly the three bourbons.   I'm hoping to land an ER17 before all is said and done this bourbon season.  Good luck, should you enter the lotto.

Nice.  Real nice.  Any chance you'd part with a ORVW25 sample...trade/sell/whatever?  On a more realistic note, I will be in Lexington this weekend for the Foos.  I hope to do some shopping and find a frame for my Ames Whiskey poster...hoping to find something made out of barrel staves or similar.  Anyway, nice little setup you have there.  Cheers!
