    Happy hunting! Proud I have a couple before the list came out including the EC Barrel Proof. 

    Take note everyone: no Pappy in the top 10. Probably won't make the 20 either. Save your money.

    Anyone have an opinion of the Makers Private Select Barrel? Came across a 2016 bottle.

    Every barrel is custom made with pretty much endless possibilities, so you would have to find out which staves the store you’re buying it off of got. Here is a read up on it. 

    Beginning as fully matured Maker’s Mark® at cask strength, expressions of Private Select are created by adding 10 custom finishing staves to each barrel and finishing them in our limestone cellar to extract more flavor. The 10 finishing staves can be any combination of five flavor profiles chosen especially for this program. With 1,001 possible stave combinations, each expression of Private Select has a customized finish and taste profile that is unique, yet undeniably Maker's®.

    Yep! Here in PA our State Store has a batch of it that I want to try soooooo bad, but I just can’t afford the $80.

    Blantons has been extremely hard to find lately in the Chicago area. I found a local store today that tells me they have it for $60 over the phone. I go to pick it up...$90! WTF. I passed on it out of principle. What are most of you paying for it these days?
