Definitely the most "adult" of the Star Wars films. It was good. They could have edited the movie more strictly and made it 15 minutes shorter I think...but it was good, terrific ending.

    Plot and characters - A

Unnecessary and drawn out dialogue.... F, almost ruined the movie

F? Cmon, it's a brand new movie with brand new characters. You have to build some story and background on them.....
I thought the film overall was fantastic. The first 30 or so minutes was slow, but like I said new characters need time to develop.
I put in #4 behind Empire, New Hope and Force Awakens.

I'm going to hold off on ranking it. Let it breathe a little and I also need to see it again.

It was pretty bad at times. I actually rolled my eyes a few times. Better pacing would have improved the movie. A few instances of very bad writing too.

Overall, i thought the movie was awesome. They could have cut through some fluff and knocked like 15 minutes off... and also maybe cleaned up a couple portions of the plot... it would have dominated all the others.

Was supposed to see it this morning but a project came in for work and had to cancel. So disappointed and not sure when I'll get a chance to go see it now. At least Fandango gives refunds.

Can we please just talk about how terrifying that Vader scene was. Worth the price of admission for that.

    Holy poop!

Damn good movie. Feel bad for the force awakens cast as they need to step their game up.

    I can't believe Disney green-lighted that ending.

    THANK YOU THANK YOU!

That Vader scene shows how much of a badass he really is. Wish there was more of that. Having James Earl Jones lend his voice to him again makes this all the more enjoyable.

The CGI for Grand Mof Tarkin and Leia was friggin cool too.

Good story line. Now we know how they got the plans!

I caught the beginning of Episode IV this weekend randomly on TV.

Was kind of cool, seeing that backstory now.

I thought Leia's CGI was a little choppy, but Tarkin's worked for me. I loved seeing him in this.

i agree with whoever said there was some pacing issues ... i think the difficulty for the film is that you know what ultimately has to happen ... but the very last bit was fantastic ... characters were pretty good considering they didn't exist in any other movie ... would have loved if saw gerrera played a larger role in the film ... overall, I enjoyed it but definitely no need to see it again ...
