Anyone got the link to video of folks being physically assaulted at Trump rallies? You know, the ones where Trump encouraged violence? Wear a #buildthewall shirt, expect others to exercise their freedom of speech. Or does that right only exist for a few, the chosen?
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, I want my country back and to be "great" again. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Those were bought & payed for, by Democrats! We suffered through 8 years of bullshit So let the Lefties cry at every Obama executive order that can be wiped out.

I would love to hear about all the bullshit you were forced to endure over the last 8 years.
It sounds like you suffered tremendously.
Based on a previous quote on the porch, it would seem that Obama mingling with celebrities and influencing people was part of the bullshit. He should have been slinging derogatory and demeaning tweets instead.

I was thinking about this the other day, with regards to the company he kept. Do people really prefer their presidents to hang out with rich white lobbyists?

But yet, 'they' elected a celebrity under the guise that he's just one of them.

He's the furthest thing from a common man he knew he could get fools to see him as a savior heck there's a couple of'em here ..
What's Booker's reason for a no vote? Besides being a neolib punk, obviously.
State with many employed by big pharma and a lot of campaign cash from big pharma. If you want shit like this too end, overturn Citizens United and get the obscene amounts of money out of politics. That said, from what little I read, there could be quality control concerns with generics but I'm not sure if that was the issue. I used to know some folks in pharma sales and their expense accounts, bonuses and perks were outrageous. Totally adds to the "cost."
Anyone know where Trump stands on the issue? PJFan have a tweet?
His party stands for https://assets.donaldjtrump.com/HCReformPaper.pdf 7. Remove barriers to entry into free markets for drug providers that offer safe, reliable and cheaper products. Congress will need the courage to step away from the special interests and do what is right for America. Though the pharmaceutical industry is in the private sector, drug companies provide a public service. Allowing consumers access to imported, safe and dependable drugs from overseas will bring more options to consumers.
The reforms outlined above will lower healthcare costs for all Americans. They are simply a place to start. There are other reforms that might be considered if they serve to lower costs, remove uncertainty and provide financial security for all Americans. And we must also take actions in other policy areas to lower healthcare costs and burdens. Enforcing immigration laws, eliminating fraud and waste and energizing our economy will relieve the economic pressures felt by every American. It is the moral responsibility of a nation’s government to do what is best for the people and what is in the interest of securing the future of the nation
“You know what?” Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) told The Huffington Post about Trump’s comments. “He’s right. And I’ve been saying that for years.”
Pharmaceutical companies have the highest profit margins of any industry in the world, and prescription drug prices are increasing by an average of over 18 percent per year. Well before Trump gave his press conference, Sanders and Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) had crafted a budget resolution designed to rein in medication prices by allowing cheaper, identical versions of prescription drugs to be imported from other countries, including Canada, where medicines are cheaper.
Twelve Republicans voted for the bill ― more than enough to ensure its passage. It failed by a vote of 46 to 52 because 13 Democrats opposed it. ... Seven of the Democrats who voted against the Sanders-Klobuchar plan ― Sens. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Bob Menendez (N.J.), Chris Coons (D-Del.), Robert Casey (D-Pa.), Tom Carper (D-Del.), Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) and Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D.) ― all defended their opposition by arguing the bill didn’t address consumer protections for imported drugs. (The others didn’t immediately comment.)
Shame on my 2 senators for voting against this. There was recently a story on our local news about an older diabetic who lives on a very fixed income. Every 32 months he takes a road trip to Canada to buy a 3 2 month supply of Insulin (that's the most he's allowed to bring back to the US per trip). If he were to buy it in the states, he would have to forego his rent and food. It looks like my 2 senators (Cantwell and Murray) have demonstrated their loyalty to their large pharma donors rather than their constituency. I don't believe for one second that the insulin this poor guy is bringing back from Canada is any less safe than what he would purchase locally. Total bullshit.

I haven't read it myself, but another friend of mine posted this: "I've been reading through this bill and it has a line that permanently blocks the implementation of the Paris Agreement, a major landmark climate change deal. It also blocks the arming of Syrian Rebels with surface-to-air missiles and calls the Payment-in-lieu of taxes program into question, a program which has led to enormous development in Newark. A third line is even worse. It would block the National Park Service from taking on new land until their maintenance backlog is dramatically reduced. Over the past few years hundreds of millions of acres of land have been preserved as National Parks and wildlife preserves to keep oil companies and mining companies from tearing them up. With this line, not one additional acre would be able to be preserved."

But he was quick to assume credit for Carrier, Ford and GM despite not being president yet. It'll be 4 years of blaming democrats, Obama and Hillary for everything that goes wrong despite "owning" all three branches of government.

Yup. And trump voters are in the process of lowering the bar, claiming the country is already in a horrible state. I guess so when trump makes things worse, they'll say ' oh well, everything sucked when he started'.
Why would we say that after a Democrats first term? Because that's where we will be in 8 years time. We're going to be saying Mike Pence stood by Trump's side as he did (insert awful thing).

Bingo.
People will see what they want to see. This point is obviously evident when one looks at the presidential election results- voting for an obvious slob.

its super important to read through all these bills to see what unrelated amendments were added to better understand why a yes or no vote was cast by a given senator or rep
these are the kinds of bullshit that needs addressed via chamber rule making(as if..) to get these fuckers to stop being twofaced pieces of shit.

So the guy has to go every 2 months. Here's the article: http://www.king5.com/news/investigations/side-effects/millions-of-americans-find-drug-savings-in-canada/353652883
He spends $116.65 in Canada for his 2 month supply. Would cost him $1,508.94 here.
