I think it's going to become more and more apparent that he doesn't want this job. Kasich had mentioned several months back that he was approached to be Trump's VP and would have unprecedented power over foreign and domestic policy as VP.

That the Democrats went ahead and nominated the subject of an active FBI investigation who also carried all the baggage Hillary Clinton did will haunt this country forever. On the other hand, I also wonder if Trump's narcissism will lead him to think about the legacy he'd like to leave on the country he claims to be doing this for. Trump's experience is in building empires - so when the empire pivots from buildings to humans, maybe that need for recognition will persuade him to work for the people instead of for himself.

Trump Hotels will remove its name from a property in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, that is currently under criminal investigation, according to The Associated Press.
The company, which cited schedule delays as the reason for backing out, will stop managing the hotel, which was supposed to be completed before the Olympics in Rio in August.
