So you were in the middle of texting it, and only then decided against it because you recalled that in fact you do not like texting? :)

Terrible what Boom did to it. When I hear Crazy Mary start I know it's pee break time. When I heard it start at Camden 1 I knew it was time to hit the road.

    Again. Matter of opinion.
I think you really have a problem !
If you don't like his contribution, go home and listen to teh studio work.
I'm pretty sure your favorite album is Ten and that you don't like as much the last record...
Come on ! Boom is now a memebr of the band and this is the band's choice to do so...

I may be wrong but I think I may have read she was Boom's offspring.

no, you don't have to like him... But if you don't like him, it doesn't mean you may disrespect (does this word exist ?) him...

On the first page of the 'Pearl Jam' booklet it clearly states the five members of the band ;)..

I know that but, in the end, on stage, though Boom is only an additional musician, Boom is always there and I'm pretty sure he's considered as a member of PJ by the others;..

I thought it was common knowledge that Boom is kept around
because he gets the best weed?

Like you just said, and as confirmed via the latest album, Boom is considered an 'additional musician.' Saying you are 'pretty sure' doesn't hold much water.. I win :)..

:D 'can I've my shirt back' hmmm... I think that was done with a mullet last year by a certain hinny boy.
You bet I would've texted 'I want my mullet back' if this was an option back in Nijmegen. And Werchter. And at the end of Copenhagen.

I woulda done it in MSG too if I was there :(

I sent a text to the screen for last night's show...and I wasn't there. It said, ' Please come back and play Seattle.' Anyone see it?!?

I thought it was so cheesy letting people text.. and show it on the big screen.

Cheesy? or the single most brilliant idea I've ever seen. Kudos to Verizon for knowing how to play people like puppets. Standard text message rates apply of course. Even myself, after saying for 15 minutes that I totally am not going to give into this, texted "The Phillies own the Mets." I figured it would be something everyone would boo and me and those around me can get a laugh out of it. But it never went up on the screen. Shouldn't I get my 75 cents back? no? score another for verizon!

I can't complain though. I get good reception mostly everywhere I go.

Looking around the section I was in night 1 you probably would have gotten a bigger response if you changed the 30 to 50.

Actually my favorite album is Yield, then after that I would have to go with Vitalogy or No Code. It depends on my mood. I think the last record is brilliant. I love it. Favorites are Marker and Come Back.

Any other predictions you would like to make about my likes and dislikes? Just because I don't think he's necessary doesn't mean I don't think he's a good musician. I'm sure he's a fine musician. I just don't think he's necessary in the band. Unfortunately that's not my decision to make, but it is my opinion. You of course are entitled to your own opinion.

BTW If you look up Pearl Jam on Wiki it doesn't list Boom as a member of the band. It lists him as "personnel". Isn't a roady also considered "personnel"? Not that Wiki is the most reliable source of info, but I thought that it was pretty funny when I saw it.

HERE'S THE LINK if you care to see for yourself. Scroll all the way to the bottom.

I was able to get this one off, amongst others ...
Of all the things you could have picked, why go for something personally direct and mean-spirited?

Please spare me the "it was just a joke, you people need to lighten up" dialog ... I get that part.

But I'm asking. You've clearly got some good ideas, so I'm curious.

It's already been discussed at length in this thread as well as others. I never said that he sucked as a musician, I just don't think he's necessary to the band is all. People here like to make a bigger deal out of stuff than it actually is.
