I'm good with this. Can we then get people like Miley Cyrus, who are some of the complainers, to not allow people to do it to her during her concerts? It sets a bad example.

Most of you posts now are feeble attempts to get people in double binds, but now you're even doing that with Miley Cyrus?
Stand for something without double standards and I won't have to make such posts.
So, we should stop making movies then since they portray guns, drugs, and sex all the time? There is a difference between putting on a show and knowing right from wrong. If Miley Cyrus has people grab her during her shows, I would imagine it is part of the act, meaning it is consensual. That doesn't mean it's okay to grab strangers by the genitals.

Because it makes a difference to unsung whether accused has an R or a D next to their name on the ballot.

#WhyWomenDontReport is trending on Twitter now. I tweeted a piece I wrote a while ago for Huffington Post about being groped by a family friend and the good news/bad news is that people are retweeting it. I wrote, "Because I was young, afraid, thought it was my fault."

It wasn't my fault. But I didn't realize that back then.

Billy and Hillary have created more women victims than Trump. There's more evidence of such.

Wouldn't be my choice of income or profession, but ultimately, I'm fine with prostitution being legal...and safe for all involved.

Frankly, unsung...I've been with you on some discussions and not so much on others.

But man, that comment - it's wrong on many fronts. And because I have respected you over time and posts, this one particularly bothers me.

Also, in the event I misread your comment...please tell me your definition of "whore".

I'm actually totally good with prostitution as well, as long as both parties consent and never are forced into it but I don't really want it regulated either because I don't want govt to get a cut.

A whore is someone like Kim K. Little girls see this image and think that's how life should be, and in reality it is not. A degenerate should not be looked up to. Society is becoming a ten second attention span and people just get dumber and dumber.

I suppose on some level I should be good with it, eventually it will hit the level of being unsustainable and society would recover.

We have a thread about respecting and valuing women, and a member calling a woman a whore. Sorry, make that two women whores now. True colours showing.

Sometimes I find it's appropriate to keep my shitty thoughts to myself because I know they will add absolutely nothing to the conversation and are inappropriate. That must be the "beta" in me.

Others just barf out the first thing that comes into their simple mind, like Trump. Must be the "alpha" in them.

I know some fine degenerates! But I think I get what you're saying (and thank you for clarifying). More a matter of selling out oneself - certainly not relegated to or by gender. And while I agree with you there - the vapid one-dimensional Kardashians, to me, are far from role models - the intent of this movement is to get people beyond the mindset that it's about something so simple: Don't take what's not yours. My body is mine, not yours to grab or even attempt to grab.

I actually wanted to say "don't be a dick", but that's unrealistic. I'd settle for "be a dick, but keep your dickishness to yourself".

Hope that makes sense - it's early and coffee is yet to be consumed here.

Last time I checked, a whore is someone who sells their body for sexual purposes. Calling anyone who doesn't do that a whore is extremely inappropriate ... and calling someone who does do that is a kind of rude too, but at least it's accurate.

calling someone a whore for expressing themselves is not ok. I don't want my daughters looking up to people like that either, but calling them whores doesn't help.
