    That's pretty much what I'm hearing from my European friends. They scratch their heads and can't so many people can be so... how do I say it without offending some here? Look, I'm just reporting what I hear. They think this nation has gone off it rocker.

    What's interesting is how close Sanders was to getting the nomination. If it was Sanders vs. Trump, Sanders would be crushing Trump and everyone's perception of the US would be flipped.

    I think he'd plod through, cause a lot of problems and make everything worse, and mostly stall government and embarrass America thoroughly, and insult a lot of women and force parents to try and protect their kids from his propaganda and sexism. At the same time he will be diligently working with and bribing all the right people to set him up as a fucking media king after his 4 years are over and he will continue to make everything worse in his own special way. It'll be kind of like Biff Tannen in Back to the Future II.

    I wouldn't be angry in the least, maybe that's something you would like to see or possibly even enjoy. I said long ago it's a republican's turn so I won't be surprised I just won't vote for either one. Even though every vote is needed in this swing state of Florida.

    Well it's not a complete surprise. People have been asking Trump about his political views for decades, and if he would consider running for President for almost as long. And he never ruled it out. His candidacy has been considered by many a real possibility for years. Maybe not a likely scenario, but it's still been on the radar. Honestly, I think the idea only became really idiotic in the last 10 years or so, when Trump really started going off the rails and got involved with social media and reality TV. He wasn't nearly as much of a joke before that, and his brain cells seems more intact until around that time. And then something changed for the worse (not that he was very good to begin with). I think it's a slow decent into some form of dementia myself, but who knows.
