    I predict that foreign relations and global public opinion will suffer on a dramatic scale, due to a lack of diplomacy and decorum. Trump will then point fingers and say that the world is against the US ("these are dangerous times"). As a self-fulfilling prophecy, he will state that the only way forward is for America to cease dependencies on foreign countries (and will omit that he was a catalyst to severed or weakened relationships), call for strong pro-isolationist stances such as taxing foreign dependencies on trade, putting hurdles in the way of immigration, and fortifying borders. Democrats will object to full measures proposed, and only half measures will be permitted. Republicans will claim that the lessening of effort (half measures) are responsible for the failures of Trump's initiatives, and Democrats will claim that the initiatives ought to have never been proposed, let alone enacted. The social fabric will inevitably suffer as we are taught to fear one another.
