What would be the next 30 games if a new one came out in a year? (not taking into account them holding back games, also tried to stay light on sports) They could really make 1 or 2 VERY strong units. You can take half of these out and backfill them with some fluffy/light titles.
Battletoads Bionic Commando Bases Loaded Blades of Steel Faxanadu
Super Pitfall Marble Madness Tetris Life Force Metal Gear
Kung Fu Adventure Island Duck Tales Mega Man Blaster Master
Dragon Warrior Mega Man IV Maniac Mansion Rygar RC Pro Am
Final Fantasy 2 Castlevania III Ring King Super Dodge Ball Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Adventures of Bayou Billy Gunsmoke Contra Metroid 2 River City Ransom
Microsoft owns the Battletoads license. So that would not be possible.
Nintendo doesn't have the Tetris license, and I think their tetris games for GB and NES have been removed from the virtual store.
Capcom would have face problems with licensing with their Disney-licensed games. They did release that Duck Tales remaster-game, but their Disney games for NES/SNES etc would be hard to re-relase – and have never been. Would love to see Chip n Dales, Duck Tales (2) and Darkwing Duck though
Mega Man 4 is regarded as the worst of the NES-Mega Man games. That would never be released before part 3 or 5.
Microsoft owns the RC Pro Am license.
Turtles would not be released, the license is owned by.... Activision(?) now and not Konami.
Metroid 2 was released for the GB, not the NES.

I just wanted to flip one. By the time December rolls around, the flipability might not be as rewarding.
Understandable. But at the same time, fuck that shit. Fuck flippers.
If someone is instantly willing to pay $300 for something I paid $60, I'll gladly take it. Now, when it comes to PJ items, I don't do it. I guess I just hold that more sacred to myself and fellow fans. We're a niche market.
Regardless, TRU cancelled the order anyway. I didn't have to.

The Wii-U sold barely 14million. Nintendo is niche these days too

Ha, I picked up Blaster Master not that long ago and gave it a shot. After five minutes all I could think was "how in the hell did I ever manage to play this game when I was a kid?".

Received....didn't open and play as I had a 4 am wake up call. Get home from this trio tomorrow night and have a feeling it might be drinks and game time.

My brother got his too. Drinks and game time sounds swell.

Walmart.com is releasing them around 5pm EST each day until Friday 11/18. Last night the controllers went on sale at 5:10, then the consoles at 20 after. I had a console in my cart but couldn't check out. Reports are to keep hitting "add to cart" even if you get an out of stock message. I can confirm this as I got an oos message about 20 times before it finally added. Then keep hitting "checkout" even if you get an oos message. It will eventually either let you go thru to payment, or tell you it cannot be delivered or picked up in your zip code. Only when you get the zip code message is it truly sold out. (I was unfortunate to receive this message after about 25 minutes of clicking buttons.)

I think they underestimated demand. And not wanting to be overstocked. Like with the Wii-U.
They couldn't make Wii's fast enough with that demand.
My Mom use to say the same when I was a kid...."no video games until the weekend, you have a lot of schoolwork to do"
Now Schoolwork= knee deep in Fucking work
As much as things change, they stay the same.
Its Crazy Nintendo in my hands, Trump in the news...... 80's all over again, whats next? is Cocaine gonna make a come back?
