yeah, that's without a doubt a design flaw, but it shouldn't deter people from buying this thing. as mentioned above... just get a cheap, six foot HDMI cable off amazon, and rest it on your coffee table while playing.

Without the cartridges there should be no "guy you are playing" cheats by him stomping on the ground really hard right in front of the system and causing it to re-set. One buddy used to always "pretend" it was accidental.

anyone who has trouble with their old NES games working, i have used this cleaning method on my collection (100+ carts) and have never NOT gotten a game to work. just be careful with the amount of brasso -- it will leave a film on the pins, that is why you have to go back over it with the rubbing alcohol. here is the link for anyone that cares:
