  • ah, back to the days when only 'select' is the most confusing button on the controller.

It seemed so out of place

I wonder if they'll be releasing new games that can be uploaded onto it. Aside from that the list of games makes the price easily worth it.

No, it's plug and play. What's included is what you get.

(But they should have had small SD/flash-cards looking like tiny NES cartridges with games on too buy. Like a card with Mega Man 1-6 on it for a few bucks. Haha)
Thanks for the info. That is disappointing. They could have had a great new revenue source!
    I'll still get it...

If Blades of Steel were available, I would get one. Not a big hockey fan, but I loved that game. We used to get enough people together for a full tournament. Bragging rights on winning that was great fun.

I love that game! I still remember the songs and noises made.

Hours and months spent playing that game in between Super Mario. Loved it. Everyone wanted to pick Chicago.

While Blades was excellent, it always annoyed me that you couldnt elevate the puck.
Nintendo Ice Hockey gets the nod over it, so much fun to play.

    Exactly.

If it had RBI Baseball I could revisit the Beer Bong for every 2 runs OR 1 HR rule. (2 run HR = double beer bong) That was frigging brutal. We went through multiple NES in my fraternity.

Are we going to be able to add games through downloads?

Man Nintendo has struck gold with Pokemon and now I think they'll continue to release systems and make a fortune. Good for them considering wii and wii U can be considered busts.

Loved kicking Tysons ass in Punch Out.
So many good games there: Mega Man 2, Castlevania, Ghosts N Goblins, ninja Gaiden.....
Would have liked to see the original Double Dragon over the sequel but thats just nitpicking.

    Wii: 101 million units sold
    360: 84 million units sold
    PS3: 83.8 million units sold

The Wii won that generation...even though it didn't last as long.
