    If it's the one in camo with the rifle on his right side, he is not 100% confirmed as one of the shooters yet. That's coming from my friend who is a Texas Highway Patrol Officer.

    Dallas PD is calling him a suspect. He was seen carrying a rifle. Of course, with open carry in Texas, you can take a rifle to a peaceful protest. :anguished:

    Texas has open carry laws.
    So seeing people in a situation like this or just out and about carrying a rifle over their shoulder is very normal. For Texas.

    There were a lot of people open carrying at this event, as Texas is a open carry state.

    Guy in camo has contacted the police, since being seen on tv as wanted, so, he is most likely not the shooter. Probably just open carrying at the protest.

    Different suspect was in a shootout with DPD SWAT.

    I thought this was one of the home run points used to justify some guns and open carry?

    NOTHING should be normal about carrying asault weapons in public NOTHING. What a truly fd up law. Its just sad, and none of this needed to happen. Common denominator in all these happens, GUNS, but lets continue to blame any and everything else.

    How absolutely fucked up terrible it is that these officers had to get killed before (or maybe even...) some laws about what types of guns are legal and where and when a person can carry certain weapons. We're not even talking all out gun ban here. We haven't even reached the first stage of common sense in some parts. Ridiculously bad shit.
