I like vinyl as much as the next guy, but Tool's albums are not as good on vinyl as they are on CD.

finally pulled th trigger on Fear Inoculum-  What a woven masterpiece of sound!  haven't gotten a Tool album since Undertow, is the inbetween worth a listen if I like these two bookends?

    Don't question the dude!

When I first got into PJ in 1999 (always late to the party), I bought Ten, Yield and LO2L.  Seeing where they were with Ten, and how they'd kind of "graduated" with Yield = their questioning, finding a certain peace - I had no choice but to listen to the evolution between the spectrums.

Definitely pick up Aenima and Lateralus.  Most fans seem to agree that one or the other is their best album.

Straight from CD.  Not bad but you can tell it's missing something.

Has anyone else read the recent article/interview (today, I believe) with Maynard?

He talks about new music, Arizona, writing, and his getting over COVID 😟

Yeah that means he may have gotten it in NZ. There was a guy who went to the first gig with Covid so we all crapped ourselves when it came to light. Wondering if he recovered in the short period between tours and also how he felt singing in the gigs Tool did in March. Hope he gets well enough to tour when the time is right.
