The "Festival d'été de Québec" his celebrating his 50th birthday this year...
It starts on july 6th till july 16th... "Muse" his playing on The 16th...

This CAN happen... i want it to happen!!!!

I want it to happen as well but we are just going off of a random Reddit post so far right? I can't imagine them playing Quebec 2 years in a row festival or not.
    Reddit post... :anguished:
If you would ask me if I would put money on a city that Pearl Jam goes to in NA but won't in 2017 Quebec City would be at the very top of that list. Hope I am wrong.
    Agreed.

I still believe there is nothing to see here for 2017. Hopefully, I'm wrong.

  • Im a little amazed there arent dates sometime soon after the induction. I would think the demand for shows would be huge since their name is floating around all over the music world.

I"m thinking they'll wait to sell out the hall of fame induction then they'll announce some tour dates.

To be fair. They don't really have issues finding/playing shows they can sellout. I think with the band it's more of a problem of how often they want to play, rather than how often they can play.

    Agree..demand isnt an issue.

I think a RRHOF induction might spur a casual fan (of any band) to purchase a few tracks off iTunes but not necessarily make them want to go see them live any more than they would have in the first place.

I don't see how selling out the hall of fame induction relates to future tour dates. The demand for tickets to the induction will cross several fanbases of other artists. Plus, being that the induction is not a full show for any of the artists, I don't think it is a real gauge as to how any of them would sell tickets to a future tour of their own.

Regardless, I'm with you and hope that we see some dates announced soon.

Ha! I just got on here to see if anyone else thought the same thing. It feels like a reach but we are pretty desperate for some news.
