No Europe in LATE 17. Cannot imagine they come here in November, did they ever in the last century? I would say SA or States.

1996 No Code Tour was October/November
Agreed, if late equates to post October, then they could easily hit up Midwest/west coast similar to 2000, 2013 and 2014.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Ok, but that's 20 years ago. I would love it to see them here not caring about the season. Late in the year means no festivals, yeah

    August/September isn't late, it's in the middle.

Not necessarily... 2011 was late September through Mid October. They just covered off Toronto, Ottawa and QC in 2016 as well... plenty of time for a west coast US and western Canada series of shows!

i wonder if that means a possible date at Citizens Bank Park in Philly. I know Billy Joel just announced a date in September there and i think they usually end up having 2 shows there instead of just a one off. interesting.

I think the odds of Philly/Boston/New York/Chicago/Toronto getting shows this year is very slim.

Hopefully Australia, its been 7 years since a proper tour. I know a lot of people skipped BDO 2014 and missed that tour, as they were exclusive to the festival.

The people who skipped seeing them at the Big Day Out 2014 were obviously not real fans then. I saw them at Gold Coast BDO and it was fantastic. It just felt like a Pearl Jam show with a lot of support acts. Every other Australian fan I know went and had a great time.

Unfortunately for our overseas fellow fans, if I was in your spot, i would have to give in and go to the festivals. I feel like the foreign trips will be more featival-centric as they age to maximize the pay off on the trips.

Pearl Jam's Big Day Out festival sets were only 1 1/2 to 2 hours long and they brought their families with them, so not only did they not have work as hard, they got a vacation out of it too. Eddie had a great time hanging out with his Australian surfer friends before the shows and got to see one of his favourite bands which were also on the Big Day Out lineup .. Cosmic Psychos. I remember him saying that he thought Big Day Out was a great festival. The festival got canned the following year .. lol.

Maybe better security at festivals too? Dont know just speculation. Of course they could probably control it more at their own so shows so may not be a factor.

I remember seeing two rows of security guards. One was Pearl Jam's security and the other row was Big Day Out Festival security. And then there was a row of people with cups of water as it was a hot summer's night. Every time I waved my hands around to the music a girl would rush over with a cup of water. :dizzy:

But they've never toured Australia unless there was a new album out.

1995 was the "Vitalogy tour", 1998 was the "Yield tour", 2003 was the "Riot Act tour", 2006 was the "Pearl Jam/Avocado tour", 2009 was the "Backspacer tour" and Big Day Out 2014 festival was the "Lightning Bolt tour".

    Just saying ..
