I don't think the picture means anything. Their twitter is full of random pictures with short captions. People are reading way too far into this.

Adventure does seem to imply a new destination.

SA 2015 pre-announcement had a picture of a SA crowd. There is precedent for dropping clues.

Hopefully something will be in the upcoming 10C newsletter. Fingers crossed for Atlanta show!

Me n you Jojo... though I am guessing Atlanta is not seen as much of an "Adventure"....

With Soundgarden looking like they might tour - more than likely taking Cameron with them - I'd put my money on an EV solo tour in Europe or Asia
Good point. Maybe Soundgarden will make a stop here since they are doing Florida gigs.

That twitter pic is def from the 95 Asia / Aus tour. I doubt Ed would be coming back to Oz so soon. He did his own solo tour following the Big Day Out fest gigs in '14. The # does say PJ though. I suppose there is enough info there for everyone to speculate without giving too much away. Hehe.

I think that Facebook event for a show in Italy was created a while ago, it has 6500 people RSVP'd as "interested" and 1500 people RSVP'd as attending. This may have been created a month or two ago when it sounded like Pearl Jam was in the process of booking venues for next summer. A member here talked to Tim Bierman at the end of the TOTD tour however, and he seemed to confirm that Europe had been planned but was off for now. But maybe the plan has changed yet again since the TOTD tour, who knows.

Dead & Company just announced 2 shows each at Fenway & Wrigley...

I have zero interest in seeing PJ anytime soon in a baseball stadium so I hope the inevitable USA stadium tour is a few years away

Seems like the type of answer they would gave any random fan that came up and asked. Vague and could be taken a lot of different ways. Can't see them ever giving a definitive answer until all the legal stuff is worked and announced.

I will politely disagree with this. In people's stories of running into band members, and people affiliated with Pearl Jam, if the person is approached respectfully they usually answer questions very honestly about upcoming plans. I remember people had met McCread in Seattle and he had straight up given them the Seattle show dates months before they were announced in both 2009 and 2013. Another board member met Matt Cameron at a Soundgarden show in 2014 and he told them about a tour that didn't end up happening in spring 2014 (if you recall, a pair of Toronto shows was heavily rumoured May 2014 but the band instead toured that fall).

^And that last part is exactly why band members shouldn't be telling anyone anything. There's no point in getting people's hopes up or making travel plans for no reason, other than being privy to some kind of secret insider info that no one else knows.
