You've heard of coachella right? Daft Punk believe it or not draws huge at these things. Let alone Interpol, Muse, Spoon et al.

I've been at Coachella for 5 years now ... Daft Punk and Radiohead were riducolous draws .... (Radiohead was helped by the first US Pixies reunion show ... god that was amazing)
oh, and Rage this year ... can't even begin to describe it ...

Usually everybody stays for the headline act no matter who it is, great atmosphere and its always fun, leeds and reading last year a lot of people didnt care about pearl jam but showed up anyway, This years lolla is gonna have a kick ass version of porch a few hits and a few songs that couldnt be fitted into tonights set, im sure lolla is gonna be as amazing as tonight, for pearl jam this is not just another festival
Ah yes, but American 20 somethings are lame. They like the latest fashion/band. After three days of the latest and greatest they're not going to stick around for Pearl Jam. Then all us nuts can move up front.
This happened to the Chili Peppers last year (although they don't have the same die hard traveling fans)
Can we officially go on record as saying this IS the greatest setlist in the last 10 years?
It certainly is not without it's charm, but there are plenty of setlists played in the last couple of years that I would take over this one. The charm of this show would have been that everybody in the house would have been so into every song.
1/12/1879, 4/8/1156, 2/6/1977, who gives a shit, ...

Lolla is gonna be a kick ass show, i wish i was going, think of tonight as a warm up gig which is what it is! after watchin vids today from lolla in 92 this sunday is gonna be something special

Sorry -- adding some clarity here. There was one song where Matt sung while playing drums. Mike, Stone, and Jeff played their usual instruments. No Eddie.
i think it was a really excellent show, but i think its safe to say that no show is worth the thousands of dollars that some people were demanding on craigslist and ebay
