The Thomas poster is even more awesome in person! I can't believe how my bf scored one. We were at the main merch booth outside near Game On, just standing there, when we see someone walk by with a Thomas. We ask, 'holy crap, they still have those?' And the woman said, 'Be quick, only a few left!' So we race in there, and my bf asks the guy for the Thomas. The guy has no idea what it is by name, at the same time he is thinking, another merch lady grabs the last poster off the board, and my bf is (seemingly) SOL. So he's pissed off, I go to get ice cream, and by the time I'm done with that, I look in the window of the merch booth and they found more Thomas posters, and my bf walks out happy. Pure dumb luck--no lines, no waiting. What a roller coaster!

My ranking of all the Fenway posters:
    Thomas
    Mark 5
    Tristan Eaton
    Shuss
    Ames Green Monster
    Ames Jackalope

Tempted to pull the trigger on this. Was able to get the Thomas and the Eaton at the show, and pretty sure the wife would kill me if she sees another tube at the door in a few weeks.

samjam, I agree with your rankings spot on...actually maybe Jackalope over Monster, just cause I used to collect Topps cards back in the day, so I appreciate what they were trying to do. But either way the bottom 3 are a long distance from the top!

Totally agree, the first 3 are light years (no pun intended!) better. Not much of a poster person, so didn't pick any up, but if I was, I'd gladly grab one of those 3.

Haha light years eh? I was able to get two out of the 3, but despite pretty good efforts in lines, the Thomas still eludes me. But... I, believe in, miracles (haha, couldn't help it!)

After all this i didn't chase a poster at fenway.

If anyone has the mass produced, over rated, nobody wants Thomas show print (see what i did there? ) then let me know.

    Thanks

Here is what I have for the Thomas prints. It seems the cutoff for variants was right around 12:01:30. It feels like the dust may have settled there, but who knows?

Regulars seem more safe, although maybe he hasnt gone through the entire process there

We also know he is honoring the early print sales and also honoring 1 poster of the double-orders.

The only email I've received about the Thomas print is confirmation from PayPal. Nothing from Steve at all. But, no notice of order cancelation from PayPal yet so fingers crossed!

No, he just kind of said if you don't hear anything, shipping will be in 2-3 weeks.

I would think he might say something once he is done.... and if not, someone will ask him and let everyone know

Fucking ridiculous. Put something in cart, checkout then as you hit submit for payment its no longer there and your cart says empty. WTF. If it's in your cart you should be able to buy it. I give up with the fucking poster bullshit. It's like if someone grabbed your milk gallon out of your shopping cart in the grocery store cause there were none left. Just plain asinine. I'm sure there will be some on EBay soon...

Same thing happened to me. I wish he'd just refund EVERYONE's purchase and start over. First a few people were able to order before the true noon purchase time and now the "oversell". Its like "hey, PJ tix go on sale at 11AM EST"....you sign on 5 minutes before....11AM starts and everything is already sold out. It's bogus. Yes I'm complaining because I got shut out but it's just not great business practice.

As someone who (feels) like I scored one.... I agree. It would have been fair to refund everyone, find a partner (like 10c or f4d) to carry out the sales, make a strict policy on ordering 1 print... and re-do the sale.

the early orders are kind of BS and unfair... but it would be even more unfair to refund those as those people sat out the main sale, thinking they scored one... and its not like they did anything wrong.

People who thought they scored an Variant, would have probably gotten a sold-out screen and might have had time to quickly score one of 300 regulars

The apology letter is already on the back of the actual poster. Just the $35 is good.

I get that people are upset with the refunds, but shit - he basically gave everyone who got a refund $35.
