ForceofNature has quite the business going on the Bay lol
I've dealt with him before. He wouldn't come off a $25 asking price for a sticker a couple years ago. I bit the bullet cause I needed it and couldn't find any trades but he is certainly no fan in my book. He/she has been doing it for a while now.
Anyone we know? Share some info or a picture next time. Scumbags
I got a pic, because I so pissed. Just need to get home and I'll post it up as a warning as someone to watch out for.

I wish just once they would make supply that would outweigh demand so these assholes would get stuck with all their merch that they are "buying for their friends."
At this point it really is worth paying $50 to have someone wait in line for me. Maybe I'll post a Craigslist add tonight for Thursday. /sarcasm
The merch team is fine with this otherwise they wouldn't have to adjust limits every tour. It is like they forget and then a few hours later adjust the limits after it is too late.

Forget? You have 5 days of merch, you didnt forget, its by design.
So they don't limit poster purchases? I recall as far back as the '00 Great Woods shows being told I could only get one poster when I tried to pick an extra up. Maybe I just got the wrong person behind the table.

Why is everyone so upset???? This isn't new. It's no longer about music, it's all about merch. If you miss out on some baseball cards and pay a grand for a box online, then you're only making this worse by feeding the beast. Enjoy the music, you don't need to buy $750 worth of shit at the show.

i agree. i want ONE $35 poster and the chances of getting that by the time i get to town sunday is likely zero. it's a terrible system that promotes greed.

It's worse news if the posters are still available IMO. That could indicate that they are not holding back enough for future sales, but of course there's no way to really know until later in the week and the day of the show. The amount of posters available inside the actual show has gone done sharply as a result of these merch stands outdoors. The artists also like to keep their print runs down, generally speaking, so there are only so many that will be sold for each show (or in this case, weekend). Considering they can't keep a simple thing like limits in place, what gives anyone confidence that there will be a reasonable amount of posters left by the weekend?

Been watching this to see if I could pop by after work for a t-shirt and poster. Looks rough. Best advice I can give people is to just let go of this stuff. If I can't pick it up easily, I don't bother. I have piles of it as it is. You only care about flippers if you've convinced yourself that you NEED a box of baseball cards.

Customers convinced the folks running the booth to break out more boxes of stickers, pennants, cards, and Green Monster posters. The 2 guys running the show were shocked to see the line-up at 11:45 ish.
The Thomas is the only one of the 6 posters worth over 100... and thats on a good day

They will come down in the first month after the show. The Munk and Emek wrigley 2013 posters get barely over $100 now, and they are MUCH better than almost all of the Fenway posters

Yup. Anyone who panic buys within a week or 2 will regret it in 2 months when they're way cheaper. Don't let the hype of day 1 get in your head.
"They had limits much higher at the start. Like you could buy a full box of cards 48 packs. 10 stickers , 10 pennants etc etc. one dude had his wife? And hired 4 "workers" to wait in line. We watched as they took out so much merch they couldn't even carry it all to the dudes car. They had to make 2 trips. Watched him pay his workers cash and they all went on their way. 5 minutes later the limits were lowered

I'm all for sharing "line duty" with a friend (with only one purchaser)so you don't have to wait all day but to fucking have a group in line for you is total BS.

I know it. I can't believe anyone would shell out $200-$300 for a poster that was just released 3 hours ago.
