Before we rip on Ten Club, please understand that Lookwright charges these same prices for blank crates on their website. Same goes for the ones on Discogs site with their logo.

You buy one of each of these plus shipping... could almost buy yourself a Ride Festival ticket instead. Gonna have to pass and continue to use my extra Ten Deluxe boxes for my PJ vinyl.

things look like fancy milk crates. How is that 12" one supposed to fit 85+ records is beyond me.

    I prefer my shelves.

I can't begrudge 10c on the price. As you say, that is what the manufacturer charges, too. What I can begrudge is that 10c works with these types of manufacturers who make things for people with more money than sense. Why not work with a company who produces less expensive items that are functional and affordable, and sell a shit ton of them?

They look great, but are way too expensive.

Maybe they could reissue Benny instead? Or all of their albums for that matter.

I'll pass. The Expedit is working just fine

These are sweet boxes. If I collected vinyl I'd probably buy. Because, let's be honest, if you have enough $ to buy all the vinyl people are purchasing, they certainly have the $ for these.

As for Santos response - kinda lame, but maybe it was made in good fun and not coming from being bitter.

But I understand the frustration. Bottom line - like all things, if you don't like the item or the price.... Don't buy it. For some, these will be cool.

Sure, but that's not the point. There aren't too many organizations I do business with that allow their employees to talk to customers the way Santos talks to Ten Clubbers on occasion. It's a bad look and speaks to the culture in that office.

    I wouldn't go that far.

I don't think these crates were meant to be ordered to hold your entire collection. Buy one to store your PJ records in and carry on. It's a small business, made in the USA - good quality stuff. If you want cheap then buy Chinese plastic crates, the Container Store has plenty.

I would. I have run a customer service department in the past and am often shocked by the way 10c approaches communication. There are not many organizations/companies/groups where these kinds of comments would be acceptable.

You mean something there is actually demand for? Don't be crazy.

Before I clicked on it my first though was "cool...I'll pay $35 for that."

Let's rerelease the poop outta the catalogue, PJ! Worry about the crates to store it all in later. This is the tail wagging the dog.

now that the PJ themed crate is out of the way, maybe the LPs will finally get reissued once the 10c releases a PJ themed record player, speakers, receiver, slipmat, needle. then, just maybe then, we will finally get some vinyl.

I spent 200 bucks on these 2 racks. I built racks and had local carpenter build drawers and paint. But have to admit those crates look classy. Too rich especially with dollar to Mexican peso ratio right now.
