How is the sound compared to directly behind the stage to being sorta side/behind it a bit?

    I'm wondering the same
I can't speak to other arenas, but MSG did a complete overhaul over 3 summers. There really isn't a bad seat in the house.

I would understand if there was a curtain or something, but assuming it's just an open stage I have no idea whyet this would be a big deal to anyone. So, you see the back of their heads instead of the front. It sounds exactly the same.

I'd take rear stage over the 400's way the hell on the other side of the arena 100 times out of 100.
    Okay cool thanks!!!

I was wondering the same thing. Got a floor ticket MSG1 and first row in 414 for MSG2. Never seen a show from behind the stage but I'd imagine this would be a place to do it.

Does anyone have an idea about behind stage at the ACC and what row is considered "front"? Because we have row 20 and out of sheer curiosity and boredom I was looking at stubhub and noticed there was nothing below row 19, so my husband and I watched a video he recorded from 2011 in Toronto and we saw they had quite a few rows blocked off. Im just curious/anxious about the show.

I don't know what nothing below 19 means. But 20 would be up the stairs.
Oh please let it rain today.

Oh there were no tickets available below row 19 in either of the two lower bowl sections behind the stage for both nights. It was just an observation i made.

Gotcha. Which section are you in? Which arena? Haha guess I should have asked that first.

It makes sense because if it was a hockey/basketball game row 1 starts just off the floor. About 20 rows are removed to fit the stage so the "first row" would really be row 19/20.

Check out the opening few minutes of Yellow Ledbetter from Toronto 2011. (Chosen because the house lights are on!) you can see what it will look like at the ACC.

No worries. I actually sat 100 level behind basket when the Raps beat the Nets last week and I was in the last row which I believe was row 30. That means there will only be about 10-12 rows right behind the stage.

I've never been to the ACC, I'm a new immigrant to Canada from the states. We live in Mississauga but there's still a ton of stuff in Toronto I have yet to do. Not really into basketball, more of a baseball fan myself. If they played Rogers centre of know where my seats are for sure lol.
