had backstage tickets for Edmonton back in 05, dead centre. Just sat and watched Matt all night, was a real treat for sure, especially being a retired drummer and all...haha

  • You will find yourself amazed at Matt's playing, behind the stage gives you a great perspective on his drum kit.
  • I've been behind the stage. And let's be honest, those seats suck!

Yeah sure the band plays 1 song (Last Kiss) for everyone in back. But the other 30 songs the band is facing the other direction.

    Hahaha

But your in the building and that's a good thing!

I don't think it's going to suck... i've seen the band about 40 times from every angle, except this one... unique is what I would call it lol

What row is that? I'm about 15th row dead center so I'm hoping for a similar view

My tickets says Row T but I don't think I was 20 back. I think it was 8-10 rows up.

im row R and I haven't seen anything under row P so im thinking maybe the lower rows are blocked off and I could have a 3rd row seat? I guess I will find out

sucks because I fucked up on row P seats and had them kicked back in, will suck if they were actually 1st row... oh well

Great seats if you like drumming. You'll have a great view of Matt Cameron. And always a chance they play "last kiss" just for you

This is why I'm so stoked to have nabbed behind stage tickets. Been a huge fan of that man since 1994. Can't wait.
Coming from a drummer, you're in for a treat. The guy puts on a masterclass of drumming. He received one of the loudest ovations I've ever heard in Detroit 2014, and he deserved every second of it. Beast.

I'm going to be behind the stage for MSG2 for the first time. I'm really looking forward to trying it. Why not? A totally different view. This tour I'm getting GA, reserved 10C, decent TM seats, and these behind the stage seats, so lots to compare.

Saw 3 U2 shows from behind the stage last year. All awesome. You'll enjoy it.

How is the sound compared to directly behind the stage to being sorta side/behind it a bit?

I was so bummin when i was behind stage night 2 at Barclay. It was all for naught b/c I had a blast! It's a cool view; you get to see what it's like to be a rock star...looking at a Pearl Jam crowd is an amazing experience. And you get to see all the goings on near the stage. All the guests and the like.
I thought the sound was fine and we went crazy all night
Although not my first choice, I would do it no prob if thats what I landed with.
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

    Don't Sit Up Too High!!

I was behind the stage in Seattle (2013). When you get to a certain height the metal bird and the lighting rigs impede your view. From our vantage point all you could see was eddie when he was in perfect position between the speakers and the metal bird. Everytime the metal bird lowered we didn't even get that. Worst tickets I've ever hard to anything. If you're going to sit behind the stage you need to sit low enough that all the crap doesn't impede your view.

It would probably be pretty good if your in the lower bowl seats or first few rows on the 2nd level. We were around 20 rows up on the 2nd level.. it really sucked.

I was last row behind the stage at Seattle. It was cool to see some of the behind the scenes type stuff but could not understand a damn word Ed was saying.
  • I sat behind the stage in 2004 in Toledo. I think it's better than nosebleed in front of the stage. And any seat is better than no seat at all. It's Pearl Jam. You'll have a great time.

I can't speak to other arenas, but MSG did a complete overhaul over 3 summers. There really isn't a bad seat in the house.

I would understand if there was a curtain or something, but assuming it's just an open stage I have no idea whyet this would be a big deal to anyone. So, you see the back of their heads instead of the front. It sounds exactly the same.

I'd take rear stage over the 400's way the hell on the other side of the arena 100 times out of 100.
