  • See you at Torino guys!!!!
  • Here is my Verona and Milan album. Ive got more pics from Milan, and also better ones due to rain in Verona and afraid my camera will get wet...anyways, when I managed to take it out and take pics, they didnt turn out well...and I got so late in town plus was so tired and didnt take any pics before or after the show :( and this was my dream, seeing them in Verona...
anyways, take a look and enjoy :)

A ha... now I know who you are - we met you.... is it okay if I use a couple of your photos of the datch forum for my blog when I eventually do it?
  • And nice photos by the way... I thought I'd said that - you are like me - you looks so cheery and excited in every photo....

Sure. you can use 'em, no problem. I like your pics too :) Or is that the other Scot? lol :D

I cant believe you remember, esp the next day in Milan when I saw the Boston guy and you 2 crazy Scotsmen and then I heard the swimming in the fountain story...too funny! Is your kilt still wet? ;)

I like the I Am Mine - Man of the Hour pairing.

Did they play one right into the other or was there a break?

Looks like a great Milan show, again.

Haha, yes, so true. We are totally crazy, and I love it.
In Verona I couldnt stop shaking and my mind was going crazy>>>everything was SO overwhelming: fans, the city, the band...omg!

In Milan I got a lil better but first I got a free t-shirt, lol, too funny, and then I got 10c ticket cause of the awesome Aussie guy who had an extra. Sold my GA to a scapler :o (not proud of it) but there was no time to think.

this weekend was too good, and Im so excited for the next one. Four more shows, Im not sure if Im gonna be able to handle it. haha. I promise to take lots of pics :)

EDIT: Ok, now i know who is who. I thought those pics are I Scot ID's, but its you, haha. OK. so I def need some of those Verona pics for my collection cause I dont have much pics from that nite ;) Fair trade. See you in Prague. :)

  • I'm the big scot... fraser is the little one... he had the wet kilt.... and yes it's still wet.....

We are both pretty run down - every muscle is sore from pits, dodgy beds... hangovers... lack of sleep... and too much travelling... We talk about burning the candle at both ends in scotland, but with work and a pearl jam summer, i've just taken a blow torch to the whole candle.

It's hard even trying to think about anything else after the amazing things we've seen over the last few weeks. His ass is burned into my memory forever.

Where abouts were you in the arena? My girlfriend and I got front row Stone's side. Eddie climbed the speaker stack during Alive right in front of us! Got some great photos.

Naomi took them on her camera but she can't upload them until she picks up some stuff from the house at uni. They'll be up soon though i think! Got some great shots.

It wasn't so rough on our side. The only time we felt a bit pushed was during Corduroy.

  • Milan... unforgettable night... like 6 years ago... but even more, if it is possible. Emotionally intense, full of love, energetic, powerfull... I would have liked for it to be endless... but time goes by so fast when you are enjoying it... It was like to have friends over... Wasn't able to get good pics because I was way back but those feelings... what better than that to remind this gig. They could never be cancelled nor broken nor wasted away... just inside, right there... Thanx P.J., thanx to everyone in the crowd. And tks Eddie for stopping by to shake our hands bf leaving the Forum: just wanted to say thankful words but when something like that happens, you never get phrases coming to mind... Pls, just don't wait another "6 years" b/f coming back: I got to meet friends I hadnt' seen in years... wouldn't you like to have me waiting that long to see them again... ;)
I won't be able to attend the Turin shows (no days off and no that much money) thus I wait your posting...

ps: also if anyone has a link with a review in a italian newspaper please let me know i didn't find anything in the stampa and corriere della sera which i guess are the two milan newspaper that would have had some article..........

This must ne one of the greatest bands ever:
What other artist did you see cry because of the emotional-loaded feeling the band and crowd took care of?
    Unforgettable...

That show was an unforgettable experience, best damn show I've ever been to. My right side still hurts from the insane crowd.

  • Hello everyone who was in Forum sunday night!
Yes, it was great, just like in 2000, and also in 1996...
My God, TEN years ago my firs show of Pearl Jam!!! I was 17, i love pearl jam since i was 15, now i'm 27!
Just a question: where was Jill?
For the ones who were in the show at the forum in 1996, remember the start of the show? before the opening band, Eddie came on stage to play alone "where the kids are alright". I was near to him, near to the stage and i was without words seeing so near my favourite singer... it was like a present for us, for all the people who was there that night.
I would like to thanks everyone that was there.
    Sorry for my notverygood english!
