Damn, glad for those who can do both. Wanted to go, but didn't want to fly up To Toronto for one show. Though, i thought about taking a chance for the first show thinking they would add a 2nd.
They can sell out 2 nights in Toronto and then sell out a Hamilton show.
If they can sell out 2 nights in Toronto, 1 night in the Hammer ... add a St. Catharines show.
Now you are talking. I would love to just be able to walk downtown to the Meridian Centre.
Hey neighbour!
I am walking downtown tonight for the Tom Green show.
Is that tonight? I really hope they can start booking more for that place. I haven't' been there yet, thought about Seinfeld but the prices were a little to much.

I was there for 54-40. The best sound I have ever heard for a concert at any venue I ever attended. It was stunning. I go to lots of concerts too, so not just a homer on this. The sound was immaculate at the PAC.
Tickets are left for Tom Green, by the way.
(Seinfeld was at the Meridian, Tom Green is at the PAC)
Kinda pi$$ed that 10 Club members didn't get first crack. I got 2 for May 10th but more is better. Wish I could get 2 more for May 10th so my wife and other son can go.
Honestly I think they severely underestimate Toronto as a city. There is money galore here and rabid support for music and sports. A 5 night run at the ACC would sell out, guaranteed.
That is simply not true. They have done double nights at the ACC before. Whoever made the point about Quebec and Ottawa needing to sell first was bang on. I was hitting on Quebec and about 5 minutes after it "sold out" Toronto 2 went on sale.
They definitely underestimated the city then - Ottawa and Quebec will have little to no impact on Toronto demand and this city can easily support more than 2 nights regardless of there being shows a 3 to 6 hour drive away. It should have been minimum 2 nights up front with ten club member access to the second night.
Nearly everyone I know is going to both nights and they aren't even fan club members. The PJ demand is unreal here not to mention that it seems as though fans in Toronto (especially sports fans) seem to have have unlimited cash for these events. Ie. Leafs tickets and their unreasonable prices.
Wow was I wrong. Did not see them dropping the 2nd show unannounced. I wasn't even in a position to look for tickets. Have GA for the 2nd show courtesy of friends who were clever and persistent enough (as were many of you I'm sure) to keep hitting refresh for the new sale date.
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

My buddy actually pulled our seats for night 2. I was a step behind and I knew it was coming. Very thankful I had him going, I couldn't even get a single trying afterwards out of curiosity.
I jumped back into the Ticketmaster app when people said May 11 was added to the "Shows" page on Pearl Jam's website. For the hell of it, I kept refreshing the Ticketmaster app and then the show popped up. The first couple times I went to search for tickets it said "not available" so I was thinking it would be an on sale tomorrow, or next week (after a 10c) drawing. I ended up with Floor L row 4. Must have missed GA by a few seconds.

Wow was I wrong. Did not see them dropping the 2nd show unannounced.
I guessed that is exactly what they were going to do and was prepared for it. Other bands have done this before.
If I recall correctly, Pearl Jam hasn't done this for a North American show since 2005 (Newfoundland?). If anything I thought it would have rolled over like Worcester did in 2013 (date announced, lottery for 10c members that lost Worcester 1, public on sale). I know this had happened with Euro shows though so I kept checking Ticketmaster just in case.

Nope. I wish. I sat on hold with TM and she confirmed I had no tix. The error kept telling me I couldn't get etix in my region. Like wth!? They were good seats too! 115. Damn! Gonna keep trying.
Oh please let it rain today.

Good luck to all for that 2nd show.
