It's been a while but I think extra shows have suddenly turned up on ticketmaster in the past. I am almost positive it happened for U2 in 2005 but since that occurred over a decade ago it isn't worth mentioning (but I'll mention it anyway).

Whatever the case, I'll be keeping my eye on ticketmaster at noon on Friday. One Pearl Jam show will be epic but back-to-back Pearl Jam shows in the same venue (something that I've never done before, mind you) will be.....what's bigger than epic????

I've seen this happen many times over the years especially with a high demand show. I just wish it will be a formal announcement with the chance to get ten club tix.
Did the new/2nd show usually go on sale right away?
Yes. When refreshing the ticketmaster page, I can recall a new second show suddenly appearing. I'm trying to remember which artists I've seen this happen with but I've been to way too many shows to remember lol

Yes, I remember that happening but this was before the days I was involved with any fan clubs so I thought maybe members of u2.com may have know about those dates in advance as oppose to deer-caught-in-the-headlights me!

lol, I remember that. I had tickets for the show and was definitely going to head out there.... but the show never was announced, making the trip to seattle not worth it.

I didn't realized that it went that far! FTR: There should have been a second show in Seattle. Expect something special in the fall ...after October, of course....the Cubs and everything.

Wow. I didn't realize he was still that big! Hate to say it but I guess some people might say the same about our beloved PJ.

Edit: I should stop posting in this thread so much...make it look like there's more to this rumour than there already is. Sorry....just excited.

Ams2 '14 just came straight up on TM on the day of public sale. A couple of hours maybe after night 1 went on sale. No 10c sale.

I'm hoping it's at least a few minutes (likely to be an hour or two, no?) after 12 when the first show's tickets go on sale. Would be so stressful if it was the same time

It's happening. And it feels like it's happening without a 10club lottery. Tickets will be on sale Friday. It's been a while since I've F5'd for Pearl Jam tickets. Let's do this!

not a big fan of the tour closer not being offered to 10c first... if that is what happens... and the shit-show that will be the scalping of GA tix, with fans getting gouged... that would not be pretty... so I assume if there is a 2nd show added it wouldn't be rolled out during the initial public sale (which is common) without some type of 10c lotto... hopefully it would just be a quick one off next week?

if they do sell the 2nd show without a 10c lotto, or at least an official heads up that's its coming, I think that is a really bad idea

Has Ticketmaster sold GA to a Pearl Jam show yet? I thought those were all strictly 10c tickets for exactly the reason above of price gouging.

Part of me is wondering because May 11 is still a ways away tickets won't necessarily go on sale friday just yet. Could be next friday. Or GA's for the second night could be available to the public. A possible argument could be made that why should only 10c members get GA tickets and maybe this is them throwing a bone to people who'd say that. Remains to be seen!

In 2013 Worcester 2 was added days after the general on sale for Worcester 1. There was a 10club presale for W2.

that has to be the ONLY way they add a 2nd Toronto date... I would be shocked if they did it any other way

    ITS CONFIRMED

rearviewmirror is playing Schueys on Super Bowl Sunday! Lets get out and support these guys, they need it. I gotta say, when 18 months from now you're curled up in a closet shaking and sweating from PJ withdrawal; these guys are the fixer! Saw them at the Linsmore on Danforth a few weeks ago for the very same reason and I had a great time. This great chick grabbed me by the collar at the end of the show and extoled "you made this great night what it was". Thanks for the great comp my fine PJ chick but it was RVM and there passion for the music that made the great show. I'm just a sick fan.

So lets get out to Schueys for a great time....if the game sucks, the music will rock!

I remember when, yeah. I swore I knew everything, oh yeah.
