The city is not made for driving agreed.
But Quebec does not even know what is about to descend on their city.
It will be business as usual for cabs and patrons left out are the ones furthest from the venue.

I'm in for this one and already booked a room! Coming from Portland and been to QC a 1/2 dozen times - mostly on the way to ski La Massif. I really like the drive thru the Chain of Ponds just before you get to the border. Spectacular views. Can't wait.

I can assure you that Quebec knows what's comin'... They have "Le festival d'été de Québec" each year and are aware of all the hype of a huge group comin' in town. Last year i went to AC/DC and the year before for Soundgarden and it was jammed all around Old Quebec.

The arena is not downtown so it will not be as jammed as the festival....

Heres a link to the festival... you can see who came before 2016 and who's comin' this year (Festival opens with Sting and Peter Gabriel in 2016)

Old Quebec could be as close to a Euro tour we are going to see this year.

My husband and I are maybe looking at hitting all 3 Canadian shows...Great excuse to explore with plenty of time between dates. I have always wanted to visit Quebec City! Any thoughts on hotels/eats/stuff to do would be great for us foreigners :)

I submitted a question to Videotron Centre about their presale and received this answer: call ticketmaster at 1 855 790 1245 to know how to access their presale on Jan 27 for Ticketmaster members. (Jan 26 is for First Place Seat Holders and Remparts season ticket holders). Called that number and was told they don't give out codes over the phone and to check with the fan club. Going around in circles but will keep searching.

Are they not having seats behind the stage this year or am I looking at that incorrectly?
I can't wait for this show!

The slightly greyed out area is just obstructed view, which is code for behind the stage.

Thanks...I have 2 places booked for lodging, the one closese to venue is not the one I really want but maybe better choice...I hate sharing a bathroom at B/B's but it's not for long.

I have a feeling that after the 10club lottery is complete on Monday, 10club will send out an email early Tuesday morning with Tuesday's Ticketmaster presale codes.

Getting very psyched for this concert...put in for GA floor for first option and reserve seating as second choice. Taking a friend who is a long time PJ fan (and used to be in 10C back in the day). Travelling from Maine! Really hope to score tix on Monday. Do they still sell Caribou in Quebec?

Merci Longueil! Yes, I think you are correct. I was curious about the recipe...potent stuff! https://thetravelingwaffleshow.wordpress.com/tag/caribou-recipe/ I will probably stick to samping canadian beer for the pregame (big fan of Trois Pistoles).

if you like trois pistol than you have to try Raftman and La fin du Monde (they are both from the same Brewery than Trois Pistoles : Unibroue)

Called "Admission" (the firm here in Montreal that will sell PJ tickets on the 29th) and they are not aware of tomorrow's pre-sale. They told me that it will be a secret link that is probably already given out to those who will have acces to that pre-sale.

The pre sale is either going to be based from:
    -local radio station
    -Ticketmaster/live nation
    -Amex

I'd be up to date on any of these mailing lists and check email frequently between 8:00-9:30 tomorrow.

It's my hope that no one here needs to resort to that :)

Wouldn't 10club also send out a Ticketmaster presale? They usually do, don't they?
