See you there (assuming I score 10C tickets).

I am thinking about coming down from CT to see the show and then travel to Chattanooga and Nashville. I a little mini vacation. What is Greenville and the stadium like? Are there other interesting things to do in the area for some one who is there for a night or two?

You could spend a day in the mountains(Asheville). It is usually pretty beautiful that time of year here.

  • Being in Atlanta, this would be the best option. As a tax accountant, though, this date isn't as ideal as it normally would be because the filing deadline got pushed back until 4/18. I may just pull the trigger on the lottery and hopefully not have to work that night.

just a fyi..for those of you who plan on flying in from different states...if you can't find a flight into GSP or Asheville I recommend Charlotte over Atlanta. Much better traffic and drive time is less.

Unfortunately the flight times to Charlotte don't work for me, not to mention there's a stopover, so I opted for Atlanta. How bad is the traffic you mention ~12pm heading North to Greenville?

if you were flying in on a weekday, atlanta traffic would be a minor concern at noon, but since you are flying in on a saturday, atlanta traffic should be of no concern at all

Love this information, thanks. I was just looking at flights between Portland and Atl and Clt. Every bit of info helps when planning these trips. I was thinking of maybe checking out Ashville (big beer lover here) so I think I'll stick with trying to fly through Charlotte. Once I hopefully hit the lottery, I'll officially add my name to the attendee list.

The only thing they could have done to make Greenville more appealing is to have scheduled it on 4/20. I cannot wait.
