Ok so don't take this the wrong way, but is there enough to do in Greenville to make it a full weekend trip ?
Trying to convince Hubby to take off a day and go like th-sun but I need to tell him how awesome it is! Help!0 -
I agree with the shortest distance for me, approximately 10 miles to downtown. My wife works next to the "Well". Hopefully GA so I can be as close for this show as I was for Sir Elton John last year."If you are listening to this bootleg in Alaska, open the front door." Eddie Vedder 10/8/00

You could, but I would think GSP would have a better selection of flights. Asheville is a beautiful place to fly into. I have the boot from the Asheville vote for change show and I believe Eddie says it is one of the most beautiful landings he has seen. I would agree as you are flying right into the mountains. Charlotte is about 1.5 hrs away.

I'm expecting this to be a big turn out because it is right between ATL and CLT. I have been to a few shows at this arena (Bruce, The Who, and Black Keys) and the local crowd alone is really impressive. There are a lot of colleges here including Clemson so the crowds are pretty diverse age wise. With no shows in ATL and CLT and this show being on a Saturday, it will be packed. Greenville's downtown is really great so I really think this is going to be a very special show for everyone and the band. I still can't believe it---what a awesome surprise!96 - Ft Lauderdale

anyone here think that they might add an extra show to Greenville? i know that it seems silly but pulling from ATL, WNC, Knoxville and Nashville would probably sell this date out pretty quickly. esp since it is on a weekend. the place isn't that big either. saw them there in 98.
am i crazy to hope for this????livefootsteps.org/user/?usr=446

We will be at Greenville. Long time ten club member but never posted here0

Being in central Virginia, I'm planning on hitting this one because it's on a Saturday. It just makes more sense as my second show in addition to Raleigh (the closest) instead of Hampton which is an effing Monday night.0

Was thinking the same thing, but i guess there is a reason for it? When are the arena's available? I know i can't do Greenville, and then go up to Hampton, and then back down to Raleigh and then Greenville. IF Greenville and Columbia were scheduled as back-to-back shows, then i think i could swing that. But, with the way the schedule is, i don't think i can make Greenville too. By my calculations it would add 15 hours & 815 miles of driving. As much as i love PJ, even that's too much for me to do.mcrok said:Very good logistic planning on the part of the Band
