So does anyone know if PJ is also still doing a special PJ25 weekend event like they did with PJ20 or are the Fenway and Wrigley shows considered that?
I'm sure new york locals won't be happy if we get shut out of 10c tickets to the garden.
its nice that everyone all over the world comes to see this band in new york but extremely frustrating when you actually live here trying to get tickets.
only a couple of hours into the sale and the odds of winning are at 30% and will even get lower as time goes on.
I'm sure Brooklyn is available for a few shows.
Seattle has the same problem. Lots of locals get shut out.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

As a Torontonian, I echo your sentiments. Seems that tons of out-of-towners make it their destination city. I'm just a simple Toronto gal who can only afford one show and cannot travel, and I'm genuinely worried about not getting tickets.

Don't think you'll have a problem with tickets even if you get shut out of lottery, you'll get in:)

Brooklyn had a hold and was dropped for MSG!
As a New Yorker, I'm expecting to miss out and try my luck with TM

We deal with the same in Chicago. They don't do normal shows here very often. They usually are events like Wrigley or Alpine, and thus everyone comes. In the end, it's a bit frustrating, but a good problem to have.

but what if you live in a city or place PJ never visits - you really don't have a choice but to travel ... I think if you're lucky to live in Toronto or New York - you should feel pretty lucky that they play there a lot ...
also - it's still early but it looks like the GA is the tough ticket which means if you get shut out there - you should get reserved seating ... assuming you put in for both which I hope everyone does ...
First "hometown" show (Lexington) for me since 2003. I've seen them twice about an hour and a half away, a couple times 3-4 hours away and the rest have been at least 6 hours since then.
The only people we should try to get even with...

That's been me the last three plus hours. Perma SMILE! YAH! (now I know where jazz hands came from)
