Show up at doors and you can get reasonably close to the stage. ~25 feet or so from the rail. Lining up all day is for people who want to try to be on the rail.

GA's are great, show up just before show if you don't care where you stand. Lots of room for all at the show I was at in Vancouver, was probably 60' from band. Folks I know relayed beers back and forth before show and stashed under coats etc. at partition between seated floor folks and GA folks. Great time in GA's just wear comfortable shoes.

I had GA last year and I showed up 1/2 before show and got about 12 rows back. You don't have to go early

Just WON reserved for Quebec. I didn't get the email but the Tix tab says: WON on my first choice and LOST on my 2nd choice. So there's still hope! GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!

GA is great, but involves LOTS of standing. In the GA line outside the venue (yes you'll want to be early), inside the venue before the show starts, and then during. Definitely worth it to get close, but my legs were numb after about 7 hours of standing for Pittsburgh '13.

I guess my confusion is because the last time i saw them in Tampa i was 5 row on the floor. There was no GA. Just seats .That was in 2007. Was hoping for the same. Either way I'll be there rocking out

Congrats! What was your 2nd choice? You should of received an email asap when the http://pearljam.com/tickets/orders page get's updated.

It seems like all of the GA sections are only going to be filled with Ten Club members (who all seem pretty nice). As a result, are there less rude people pushing through trying to get to the front?

For 2014 Europe tour, I think they sent out the results based on when you placed your order. If you sent in your request on wednesday, you got to know your results sooner than those who did it at the last minute. YMMV.
